Hello everyone. What does it mean to have this platform as hosting? Does it mean my website is not visible if I don’t pay the monthly instalments? Also can I go back and
Everything everyone has said is correct, however, just a little further advice or tips if I may :-)

I'm presuming that you registered your domain name through WA, so as Diane mentioned, you can't change the Registrar for 60 days, however, you can change the Nameservers, anytime and for free.
As you are thinking of coming back to WA, I wouldn't worry about changing the Registrar, but if you would like to keep your website online while you are gone, then I would find another Web Host and migrate your WordPress website over to them, followed by changing the Nameserver here at WA to point to your new Web Host.
Once you come back to WA, you will be able to do the same thing, but in reverse, and point your Nameservers back to WA and migrate your website back to WA Servers.
If you will be gone for more than 60 days, or you want to migrate your website, as per above, then you will want to use the All in One WP Migration plugin, to either keep a backup until you return, or to help you migrate to another Web Host.

Hello from Nottingham! The hosting of your domain is included in your membership. So, if you cancel, then you won't be able to access your website and it won't be visible on the internet. And if your membership is not paid for 60 days then your website is deleted.
If you have actually purchased your domain, then you can transfer it to another hosting provider, but only after 60 days since you bought it.
If you are using the free siterubix.com, then you can't transfer it anywhere, it is not your property.
His sis. I’m in Liverpool! U guys getting any snow yet??? Over here is colder than a wicked witch’ bum! Thank you for the info. So I purchased my own domain. But I still want to come back in a few months when I’m more settled. So while I’m gone will the site with my domain be visible? And when I come back do I have to start from scratch or can I just continue on this? Thanks Di x

As soon as your membership ends, your website won't be visible 'cos it won't be hosted any more. And if you are gone more than 60 days, it will be deleted. You will still own the domain, but it won't have a website on it.
You can transfer the domain to another hosting provider, but you can't do that until 60 days have passed since you bought it. So, you would have to keep up your membership here until then, as you can't do it once you have left.
If you don't mind it being offline, then you could take a backup of the contents and then when you come back, Site Support could restore it for you.
Hi- unfortunately, if you stop your payments then you will be lock out of the platform.
Your website will still be visible
You cannot be a starter member again.
If you feel that you're unable to be committed at this stage, then perhaps it would be best as you have suggested to return when you are a bit more ready to do so

There’s my sista lol. I think it’s best if I prepare first rather than pay and not be available to participate regularly. I have other pots in the fire so to speak and they are ready to serve income. I need to pay them attention cos I’ve been working on them for years. But I love this platform and would like to have a go at it as a learning experience, like an online college if you will. To be able to do that I have to cement my income sources right now at the beginning of the year. I hope that makes sense?

Site support will keep a backup of your site for 60 days. However, if you need to cancel for now and come back later, when more feasable for you, I would do your own backup of your website before you cancel just to make sure you have it in case you go beyond the 60 day mark.
Hello Joe. Thank you. Yes I think it’s best I do that for now. I do like it on here but the time frame is a bit off because I have to give more time to what I started years before. I was on a programme over in Manchester and I need to give it attention. I wanted to thank you for always responding to us newbies on this site. You have been so helpful. I recognise your picture. I used to have a cat that colour named Sidd, he behaved like a dog and acted like he was my master lol. Best wishes and thanks.

Hi, to keep your sites hosted with WA, subscription fees will have to be maintained yes.
If payments are not maintained, once membership ceases, you'd be locked out the platform. So if you have any sites hosted here, you need arrange alternative hosting elsewhere before your account ceases, as site support back up only are valid for 60 days .
It is also important to back up your sites, you can do this using the AIO WP Migration and Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.
Please be aware you can never back to being a free starter.
