i have been so busy doing the homework on here, that I forgot to look around at some of the other features! This is my first blog post on here, and of course I am getting caught up in editing lol.
Anyway, I remember back in the day having a conversation with someone about those tear away top lids for take out coffee. The first ones to come out just had two notches and a half moon shape in the lid. You could tear at this to make an opening in the lid so that you could drink out of it, and it rarely would tear out a nice half circle. It was more raggedy and sometimes I destroyed my lid in the process. When they first hit the market, everyone was saying "I had that idea, but this guy beat me to it!" I think it is interesting that so many people were having the same idea, at around the same time.
As technology propels everyone forward, we all start getting those "next step" ideas. But only a few people act upon them. I am not surprised. I,too, have had my share of aha moments that I did not act upon. And the funny thing is, those lids have evolved so many times over the years! This just goes to show that ideas are not necessarily final; they can be upgraded along the way. Every time I push the button in or pop something on the lid, I think back to those first 'easy sip' lids.
I know that when I get my website/blog up and running, one of the first posts that I write will be on this subject and how we can be motivated to take some kind of action when we have inspiration. The world is waiting for these great products and ideas!
