What to do when you have writer’s block

Hi all,

I just wanted to share what I have learned about how to cure writer’s block. You see I continually have this problem. I stare at an empty screen and nothing happens. So When things get really bad I reach out to the community here at WA. I usually get some great answers and I wanted to share some of those answers today.

Some of the things on this list may seem obvious but when you have writers block sometimes the easiest solution is what you need to get the brain firing again.

Get out of your own head

Go for a Walk and clear your head

Go out and do something to clear your mind

Brainstorm with a Partner

Use Templates

Use Bullet Points for Ideas

Mind Mapping: We always used “brain storming” webs

Search Quora, Reddit, Answer The Public, Answer Socrates, Facebook, Pinterest, twitter, Google Trends, and other social media to find what topics are trending

View Amazon because every product is part of a niche.

In what way are you (your business) helping (target market) in relation to your niche?

What makes your business tick?

What does your target market care about?

On Expanding Articles

Focus on a product and google questions about the product

Expand to talking about the brand

Questions to ask yourself

• Do you express expert knowledge of the product?
• Do you show how it can be used?
• Have you mentioned how it measures up in terms of performance?
• Have you said what sets it apart from its competitors?
• Have you compared it to other similar products?
• Have you discussed the pros and cons?
• Has the product evolved and improved from previous models?
