About Irishredrose
Joined February 2017
My husband and I started a blog together as a way to work together and hopefully one day make money. The goal is to replace 2 incomes and after that to save for retirement.
After eleven years together, hubby and I were blessed with my one and only pregnancy. On our 12th year together our son was born. As of May the 6th we celebrated 15 years together and next month we celebrate as our son turns 3.

Update 9/15/2020
Hubby and I put our website (that we were running together) on the back burner. He is focusing on a 9 to 5 job, while I run a different site, and take care of our toddler.
It's been 5 months and my "new" website is well under way. I am 2 articles away from 50. I've had 15 sales on Amazon and have officially been approved as an associate! I am really starting to branch out with other affiliate programs. I have finally reached 1000 word articles (okay only 2!) but I think I finally broke through the brain block!

Update 01/24/2021
I ended up taking time off from WA. 3 months to be exact. It started with an issue with our internet and then I got sick. Then things got away from me. And to make things worse I could not write for 3 months. Major writer's block.

With lots of help from the Wa family I am finally back to writing! Taking time off really slowed down my business, but I am determined to grow my business over the year.

Update 04/13/2021
Things seem to be back on track as far as the writing and the indexing goes. I am up to 106 posts.

In Feb, one customer bought 20 computers from my link. So I got a nice $120.00 commission from Amazon.

I tried a new service that boosted my posts. It was a free 30 day trial. I got lots more traffic but no sales. While I enjoyed the traffic boost I did not continue after the 30 days.

As of this month I am trying to write more informational posts to boost traffic. Will update if it works.

Next month will be my one year anniversary with WA! I celebrated early by renewing my subscription for the next year! Here's to the new year 2021!

Update 6/1/2021
After many conversations with Diane and Kyle about my lack of traffic it was decided my niche was just too broad.
So I have had to narrow my niche. I am only about 8 posts in to my new niche so there have not been any significant changes in traffic yet. (Using the Same website)

I started a second website in the MMO niche. I won't be as productive there as it is not my main focus but I figure as I discover new things to write about for it I will.

Update 7.17.2021
Just wanted to update on my traffic
after a month and a half.
My avg traffic is now a
min of 6
to
max of 28.
Per day.
Finally have some traffic to share the news about!

Update 8/7/2021
Well it turns out my second site is much easier to work on than my first site. I have been able to write a post almost every day for the last 3 weeks. I am even seeing a tiny bit of traffic (mostly from social media). Ok let's call it a person or two but it is still encouraging!

I am going to keep my first site but I am only going to post once a week on it and keep putting my focus on my second site.

Broken down, this is going to be more than achievable for you (and then some). The internet has over 2 billion people actively search for and buying things online. All you need to do is connect with a few of these people each day to meet your initial goal!

I know with some hard work and persistence you will achieve all of your goals and then be building brand new ones. I am here to help if you ever need anything and you have an entire community rooting for your success here at WA Brianna! :)

Creating goals is an important first step. After that, I suggest taking advantage of the well-designed and systematic training provided here at WA. When you have questions, don't be afraid to ask the talented and helpful mentors here for us.

If you follow the training diligently and use the many resources at Wealthy Affiliate, you will see steady progress. Good luck with moving toward your goals.

Best regards,

Joe

I apparently signed up with WA a few years ago. I do not remember this, but it happened. Because of this I cannot comment, email, or chat with anyone unless I upgrade which I cannot do at the moment. I sent an email through the outside general inquiry email but I have not heard back. They may not be able to fix this until I upgrade. Please DO NOT think I am ignoring you. I literally can not respond. I have tried every way I know how to let someone know! Apparently I can post here.

Hello, I jumped off because of my nerves, I feel the product review is a research thing, but not my own words. So how can I read other peoples reviews and then review a product that I am wanting to promote when it is not my own words, I have not proven the product myself. I can just make it up the hole review but, I will not feel honest about it, I can't afford to go buy a product just to check it out for a review. Thanks for reaching out. Mike. T

I understand. It can be nerve racking at times.

WHat I do in a case like this is start with the specs. Then the benefits. Then some cons.

Review Template 2

Title
One of the most important elements of your article is the title.
Why?
Well, it’s usually what Google and other search engines will use when listing your post in the search engine results.
Don’t just use “Product Name + Review”…. Add a little something extra to it.
In other words… create a title that is interesting and will make people want to click on it.

Introduction
As the name suggests, this is where you introduce the product you are reviewing and maybe highlight a key feature or benefit. Try to give a brief background story of how and why you found the product, relating it back to your target audience. Give it a “real feel” and make it personable to your readers. This way it shows a level of authority, rather than just a sales pitch.

Benefits Of The Product
Here is where the review starts to really get interesting. Explain in detail what problem(s) it solves.
Don’t mix this section up with the product features. You really need to show the emotional attachment to the product, and how it will benefit them.
Just listing off the product features here will tell them what the product does, but it won’t explain how it will help or benefit them. Try using stories or use different scenarios to connect emotionally with your readers.

How To Use The Product
Give a brief overview on how you use the product. This can depend on the type of product you are reviewing.
You could step your reader through the installation process, explain what is involved to set it up, explain how easy (or difficult) it is to use, or give an explanation of the best way to use it to achieve the desired results.

Product Description and Features
This is the section where you can list off the product description and features. Bullet points can work well here.
Also, sometimes it is a good idea to provide information on what comes in the box. For example, does it come with batteries?
MODEL/MAKE/STYLE:
SIZE/WEIGHT/DIMENSIONS:
COLOURS:
SPECIFICATIONS
PERFORMANCE
TRAINING AND SUPPORT
EASE OF USE/USABILITY
WARRANTY INFORMATION

Who is the Product for?
Try and describe the type of person, or group of people that the product is for. It could be for everyone, or it could be for a certain type. It really comes down to the product and your target audience.

What I Like About The Product
Simply list the features that you like, and details on what makes it great. This is another section that you can use bullet points if you want to.

What I Don’t Like About The Product
As above, but this time listing any features that you don’t like. And be honest, not every product you review is going to be awesome. Otherwise you will start sounding like a salesperson if you don’t provide balanced information.
Again, use bullet points if you want.

Final Thoughts
Close off your review with a final summary of the entire article, reminding the reader who the product is for and why it will benefit them.
Also,
Remember to ask your readers to engage with you by leaving a comment. Maybe ask them if they have bought the item and what their experience has been like.
Or keep it simple and ask them to leave you a comment if they have any questions.
