A couple of weeks back, I noticed that I could click a little spot under my profile picture and see my original goals statement and the replies to it.

A few days later,

I click on 'Dashboard' this takes me a page with 'Getting Started' at the top and just below that is the a section for 'Account Setup'. In Account set up I click on "goals are set" (a small purple circle) and that's how I see my goals. :)

I followed Marion's advice, but didn't see anything. She said go all the way down and hit Ctrl+F. I didn't see anything.

Have you tried it? If you do, let me know what you see.

Chuck

For me it's a 2-step process. First click on your profile picture. Then a box pops up with 6 different choices. The upper left choice says "My Profile" with the same picture. Click on that.

Just single click. I just tried it and found that double-clicking made it disappear again.

This didn't show me anything new. Last week, there was a series of dots under my profile picture int eh upper left. I clicked on the dot furthest to the right and it showed my money goals and other people's reply to it.

Maybe it's a feature they're getting ready to add.

Strange. I'm using a laptop. Are you using a cellphone?

No. I'm also no a laptop. Hmm!

I too would like to know this

You'll probably have to scroll a long way down to find your goals. Scroll down a lot then use Ctrl+F to open the "find" box and type in your username.

Marion
How far is a lot? Where do we stop? Where is this "find" box?

Chuck

You'd have to go to the "Money Goals" page and scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN until the scroll bar no longer rolls up when you get to the bottom.

Thanks, John.

Great question!

Now we need the answer!

The title is my question.

I have 3 posts that do not indicate in Site Content that they are indexed, however, when I type "site:myurl" into google, all of my articles ar

Personally, I have discovered that Site Content does not get back to me at all times when Google indexes anyone of my posts but it does sometimes. Don't worry at all if you don't hear from the Site Content sometimes. Thanks for asking!

Israel Olatunji

Wow Great Job

Hi John! I didn't know you can see this in Site Content too!
Where can you see this?
I only get google messages that my post got indexed.

Congrats to your indexed posts!!

Aloha, Jenna

Hey Jenna!

When you go to Site Content, each of your published articles are in a box.

On the bottom of each box, there are 4 icons:

A Google "G"
A Bucket
A Round Symbol with an up arrow that means your article has been published, and
A garbage can

All of them start off as grey in color until you publish, then the round symbol turns green.

If you put your articles in buckets (For example, I use that for the different websites that I have), then the bucket turns green.

When your article is indexed, the Google "G" turns into the multi colored Google logo.

That's how it tells you.

Thank you very much, John!!
I can see the icons now ;-)
Never paid attention to them.

Thank you for your explanation and help!

Aloha, Jenna

I created a post in Site Content and accidentally sent it to the wrong website. Now, I've already tried a couple of things, but I ended up just going over to the wrong site and

Aloha, John!

I would delete it and paste copy into a new blog within a site content. I did it! The system complained about identical content. But I ignored it.
Erased the blog on my website. Done.

There may be better solutions ... that was mine.
Aloha, Jenna

Hi Jenna!

That's what I'm going to have to do. I found myself thinking about it at work today which means that I've become obsessed by it. I have to address this.

Once I have it where I can see all my little eggs, I will be able to forget this, but not one minute before that.

Thanks again!

Wonderful eggs!!!

Happy it is helpful for you, John!
I know this too, John. Cannot shut down until I have the solution!

But it is important to let go and BE SURE the solution will come to you!
WA is the best place I know to practice it!

Aloha to you, John!
Jenna

Once a post or page has been published you can't edit it in Site Content.

The search engines don't index the stuff in Site Content, they index the stuff on your website.

Thanks Marion. I did learn that already, but I was just trying to be lazy. It's easier to click on the site content article then click to edit the post in WP than to sign in to WP and navigate to the post.

For someone like me who is slightly OCD, The reference to that article being missing from my list of articles is bothersome.

I appreciate your help. I always see you around and helping people. I wish you could fix the way my brain is locked on the absence of this link!

Hi John, I would copy and paste your original post into a new SiteContent post. Once you are happy that it is ok, publish it to the correct website. Then, if you are confident that it is correctly posted into the correct website, go to the other website and delete it in WP. Gary

Thanks Gary! I will do just that! I thank you for taking the time to reply here!

If you want that WA Site Content “tracking” then it’s delete and paste anew. That said, once posted you do your editing in WP anyway, or at least I do.

Thank you for your answer. I will do that. I don't know what WA "Tracking" really does for me, but the way it is now, I don't see any reference to my article.

I think I just need "John Tracking"

The other day, I offered three comments. Two are still pending and the third, I have been given a credit for, but I had a skip rate of zero before I posted those three comments

Thanks for asking, John! Learned something new! :-)

Yeah, when you choose the "I am not interested" button, then you have a skip. Thanks for asking!

Israel Olatunji

"Skip" in site Comments is the button you can click if you are not interested to Comment on the current website displayed maybe for one reason or the other.

Hey thanks! Now it makes sense because there was an article about breast pumps and I didn't feel I'd be qualified to comment on, so I moved to the next post.

Maybe there ought to be a "Reason" box to check. I don't honestly think anyone wants a breast pump article comment from a man.

I hate to use the term "Not fair", but my passing on that article is counting against me. That doesn't feel right to me.
