Not the End to September I wanted.
Hey folks,
As many of you know I was building out a Skool Community for a September 3rd Paid Community Launch and was under the gun for a ton of content and not just on the community but on a matched website and across tools being included in the training materials.
As you pretty much all know 13 years ago, I had a nervous breakdown and have been on a long climb up since then. This project was ambitious and it was all me because the $9 plan allows only 1 admin, no moderators etc.. to help out. On September 3rd I had everything upgraded and tried to launch and tried to promote, and service members, and bring sites online, and all the things that go on with a launch and a fuse inside me blew.
In short instead of the launch I planned I got crickets because without a leader teams as often begin to unravel and if I continued to push I know I would have had another big break instead of a small one. I canceled the launch, asked members not to promote as I decided the future of the program and took time off to heal.
Flash forward to October 1st
Tomorrow we are reintroducing the free membership, and the group will stay free to join for the foreseeable future. I will not be making unrealistic deadlines for content and will focus on building systems instead that combine tools like the training and AI Support of Wealthy Affiliate, automation tools, and another Low to High Ticket training system for some of the things not related to blogging affiliates can do for success.
For now we are working to build community around the mastermind or think-tank ideology, a pay it forward of knowledge and resources, a free exchange of ideas, and a place to collaborate and build partnerships for tomorrow. As I slowly grow our training library under less pressure.
I apologize for not letting the community know sooner, I was depressed and ashamed all month looking on this as a failure until my faith lead me to answers not of failure but of a blessed redirection.

Yes the restructure and new direction will be by far a better scenario as I build towards other means to monetize.
Yep I didn't give in despite temptation and let faith drive me forward after some much needed time off.

It's good to hear from you, I also appreciate your honesty.
I think we need to be careful about big goals, of course, there is a balance, but I believe sometimes it can just be too much and that we can almost suffer from overwhelm!
I think you have probably done the right thing to hold back, rather than take on too much. I also think with working online, it's potentially easy to try and work seven days a week, but it's important to take time out. I have often said that, I can achieve more in five or six days, and I can in seven days. We will need to take regular breaks.
Keep going, Andy, and keep the faith.

It was a big undertaking before I agreed to speed up the launch timer. Now I feel.like the pace is my own.
That's good to hear, Andy, it's good to stretch ourselves to a certain extent, but there are limits and we all work differently. I'm glad it feels like things are more in control, great news!
