Write in English as this is the main language used online. You can add a plugin for translation to your website. There are free ones like Google Translate or the best paid one, WPML.
Good luck and much success to you.

Hi Nacho, much of the online world is set in English, it can be hard if that is not your native tongue

The best thing is to start writing, even look at translating your work or just get rolling in Spanish. At the end of the day, we are trying to reach out to an audience.

One of the hardest things is to work out who and what our targeted audience is.

Nothing beats on the job training.

Best wishes.

Hi Nacho, welcome to WA and it's brilliant that you are taking action.
as for which language to write in - where are your audience? which languange do they speak? and there's your answer.
for writing i would advise writing every day - not always for your blog , but a bit of free writing where you just sit for 10 mins or longer and write whatever comes to mind, don't edit jst write - you go back and edit, but not this one.
if you stall just write the last word over and over again.
after a while start to choose a topic before starting to write and write on that topic- it can be questions or just thoughts.
try to increase the length of writing over time.
on your blog i would plan out where you want it to go and what topics you want to write about. this way you can start to get ideas of what your niche may like to know.
the other thing to do is to find your niche...they will be online somewhere.Talk to them, see what they want...everyone wnats something.
when you get a topic for an article then break it down into smaller chunks, and if necessary those chunks into smaller ones.
this way you maybe writing only 300 words for a chunk, then write another as you have the topic and idea - and very soon you will build your article up into 1000 words. but if you can't at the start, don't worry, just write. You can always come back and edit it in the future...just get going.
check out nathaniells blog on writing posts- search in the top box for 500 word, but try to double this word count.
click on the star next to the letter at the top to bookmark it, give it a useful name, and then on the star at the end of the search box to see your saved items.
good luck
phil

Thank you very much Phil, that was really helpfull.
Actually I already pick up a niche and I really like it.

It calls "the eneagram of personality". It´s a self-help system that I personally like a lot. The products that I can promote are over all digital courses and books. But my adience it´s very international so I think its better to write it in english. I will do my best.

But as you said, today I started to write in spanish and I was thinking to translate it later.
Let me ask you another question pls.
If I have one post in two languages, its ok to public both of them (maybe doing a separete page on my website for each language)
or would it be confusing for my audience.
Its just that if I write in spanish and I translate it later to english, I would like to use all my work ;)

Thaks again for your help

brilliant, i can see that you are taking it seriously.
i have heard of the eneagram, a lot haven't so introducing them to it would be good.
it maybe tempting to target everyone for this niche, but doing this will reduce your impact...so select a small group and start with them, once you are gaining visitors and clicks then expand your niche.
so with that and the fact you are on a starter membership and cannot add plugins to your website, i would stay with the spanish...once you go premium you can install a plugin to select which language to have your site in, so you can cover multiple languages.
i have never used them, but have seen them on a number of sites, a quick google will tell you whether you will need to rewrite it in another language or can use a translator program to achieve this.

It has a lot of sense. I think I will do it so. At first at spanish and with the time and the premium account (I calculate next month) I will start to create write in both languages.
Thank you very much. I can see that you have already experience.
I really apreciate the help.
Can I contact you back if I have some more questions??

Of course you can Nacho, i am usually around forr a bit most days.
but make sure you can afford wa for at least 6 months before committing. why...because you cannot go back to a free account after signing up for premium on that account.
note there are 6 monthly rates, yearly rates and normally a special black friday deal.
i would go for the low rate first month (don't worry the price will be there for you i a couple of months if you need to wait) then if you are still fired up go for 6 month or yearly to save a load of money over the monthly price. you can then afford a domain at a low price of $14 ish per year. and that's all you need.
