I Hate it when I am Stubborn.
but I am a Taurus and as such must accept my fate. I am awfully loyal too though haha.
For a long time, months, maybe even years I have seen the Grammarly ads online and TV commercials. All this time I thought, what another spell check, maybe some grammar and usage monitor, who needs it? This coming from the worlds worst speller and grammarian. <- See I just learned that word here. Then with "Site Content" within Site Rubix, I thought, what more do I need. I was wrong. I have no idea why I tried it one day but I did and what a difference it makes. First of all, I had no idea they had such a comprehensive free version. You can install a Firefox plugin (not sure about the other browsers) or you can download a desktop copy and away you go. The functionality is so simple and making changes is a snap. I will never be without it again and in fact, in due time I will upgrade to the premium for sure. It makes that much of a difference.
Finally, I thought well I have it covered with the grammar and spell check in Site Content but what I discovered is that now I have a double check. I write in Grammarly and check it in Site Content. This gives me a check and balance. It's cool because sometimes those two don't agree and I get to choose which usage is the best for me.
I am a total convert and absolutely love Grammarly. I promise I won't laugh at those actors in the commercial anymore.
Can you dig it,
Damo

I love Grammarly and use it constantly...but I still make mitstakes now and then. LOL!
All the best,
Sue
Yes, it is a fantastic little tool for us writers. I have it installed in Chrome and it's amazing. Do you know that if you point to a word and double-click, it gives you a dictionary breakdown of the word?
David
Awesome! This feature alone will be worth installing it for me, since I use a dictionary a lot! Thanks for that David!
What.... no way I didn't know that awesome sauce thanks, buddy! wait mine gives me synonyms! So sweet. Before you know it they will think I am Shakespeare haha!
I'm with you 100% on this. After I installed the free version I went back through some of my old blogs. Oh... there were some awful errors.

If there's a better way, I'd need some huge convincing...
Grammarly browser plugin with Google docs (to start) - copy and paste the content through site content (to keep track of my pace, words typed, etc.) - then into my blog as a post or page depending on the topic, format, add images, triple check...
...and publish. :)
I have been using Grammarly for a few months now, free version and I like it a lot. I like the way I can correct my typos as I write.
I reckon I am a bit like you, I have resisted for quite a long time.
Maybe I should now consider its value.
I was pleasantly surprised, Steve. It even works automatically right here in the comment box. It is really a pretty cool tool.

The hardest part for me is the fact that site content always gives me American spelling! Now I'm like "wait, how do I spell flavour, no 'u' or with a 'u'!?" it's difficult times for an Aussie on here :D
