I know it's crazy...
I got a new site that's for promoting Wealthy Affiliate at
From WA click on websites and hostings, once there click on log me in or on detalis and there's your usersname and password.
Hi Margaret,
If you have access to your Hosting account, you can use
the "Through phpMyAdmin" section of the following article:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
I used it a few times successfully.
Let's hope it helps !
Cheers !
Andre
If you go to "Build my website", and click on "details", your admin password is there, in case you forgot. Of course, this works if your website is hosted by WA.
I just tried it with my site. If you did not change the admin password, you will get in. The admin has same privileges as you, so then you can get to users and fix the mess
John
You should be able to just click on "Build My Website">Websites>Details and get your info there.
Start from the beginning
Click on "build my website"
Then to the right of the site click on "details"
there it will show you the admin password
try that
John
If it's hosted at WA, just put in a support ticket. Did you change the user and password from the ones generated by WA/Wordpress when you created the site?

Quick questiong...
I have a theme that I am going to be handling
domain names
hosting
plugins
themes
web anaylytics
security
land
It's a tool that you use to see where most of your visitor spend most of the time and you can be able to put relevant information where it's guaranteed to be seen. weird technology for sure
crazyegg is one of the resources. This is one tool that will be handy when you have consistent traffic and you want to find out where to put your opt-in or deals at when you are working on campaigns for increasing your email list and other good stuff
think two word description might be more inclusive, liked web properties was also thinking website components
Thanks, I had a marketing section that covered email, video paid, seo, social media, ebooks etc. Is there another name for them
Thanks. I did a search on the word and the meaning is basically in the coding like api. Thanks though it was a try. I know we will solve this

Hey my virtual family.
Quick help needed here.
I got two domains and I needed your input on which is catchy, memorable or appropriate for promoting wealthy affiliate
Hi Market, If these our only choices----I like ( Steps To Starting An Online Business) because I ran them through Jaaxy search tool and Steps To Starting An Online Business looked better to me and as of now the .com is available --as a matter of fact--- all the urls . net .org ect... are not taken !!!
Thanks so much. Yes, I ran them through google keyword tool and they have a volume to them. thanks for the vote. How is Jaaxy going for you? I am in the market of buying a keyword tool software because I NOW understand the beauty of keywords and SEO
I love it ---It is great !!! I know you will do well --one lesson at a time --learn and earn ---
I favor Steps to starting an online business, I agree with M W steps demonstrates stages of progress and for people like me I need steps to achieve the outcome I am looking for
Thanks Katie, we all started with sitting then crawling and walking and running and jumping. I think it's instinctual to like steps. Your vote is noted
How about "Steps To Start A Profitable Online Business". I know, I know you didn't ask for a variation but I like the word steps because it gives you a nice top down approach and you can blog and publish each step as you go and you could maybe have return visitors looking for the next "step".
I also agree that "profitable" is a good word..
Matt
You just gave me a goldmine nugget on writing blogs in steps form. What an idea. Thanks a billion Matt
I think a "business" sounds more long-term than a profitable one. Just my inclination.... Good job on both, though! Luck be with you... :D
Hi Margaret! I would go with the 2nd, we often hear or search ourselves for the words «online business». Or you could mix the two and make it «How to start an online business». Good luck, hope you find the one that suits best what you want to offer! :)
Thanks for the input. Oh Boy, I tried 'how to start an online business' and they are selling it into the thousands. I based them on keyword research of what people are searching online. Thanks for the vote
Hi Margaret, if you could get either one with a dot com then I prefer the second one. Either one can be not only used for WA but almost any type of marketing.
Rich
You could actually promote WA with both of them and still have two entirely different sites. I suggest beginning with the one that inspires the most passion in you. Could you easily spend a lot of time helping someone start an online business or would helping someone start a profitable website be easier?
I realize I haven't answered the question, lol. I think the answer lies in which url best fits your current target market. I like the online business one myself.
That's an excellent point of view. Thanks for reminding me that inspiration sparks commitment

I know it's hilarious but seriously, what name do I attribute to my site?
I see other sites with a place for prices, services rendered and so forth and a place for testimo
apologies if I came off a bit "to the point" I have a sore throat, but someone else in the offline world just thought that I was a bear with a sore *ss...so if I did- apologies, Andy
I didn't notice any soreness in the comment, actually, I loved the idea that you read between the lines and understood me the most which am truly grateful. quick recovery to you Andy
Although you can call it either, yours would fall under the description of blog roll in my eyes.
Thanks, so far, I bet my site is 99% blog lol. I bet now the next thing will be how to get traffic to it.
False distinction, and not needed. your real question appears to be something like "am I showcasing my content to make it appealing to visitors and getting them to take the actions I want?"
You seem suspicious as to whether throwing content repeatedly at it is getting you anywhere-
use analytics to understand visitors behaviors and where they spend more time
engage them via comments if you have them and ASK THEM
whether your home page is a static one, or your posts, you should ask yourself what are the pages/posts designed to do, and are they fit for purpose- and how should I change things up?
Just my observations...Andy
Andy, I think you read my mind there. Where do I get the analytics tool to figure what my audience want and crave for. of lately, I have been receiving hundreds of spams with no real comments, so it hasn't engaged as hoped for. I created a survey last week that will at least shed some light on what is needed by my audience which I pray it is. Thanks so much Andy
Is there a clear cut definition for these terms? It can be confusing at times and you wonder what you really have going on.
Interesting question, Margaret!
Hopefully you get the answer too with all this input. Thanks for understanding my perspective
The more post you have the more blog like whereas if you have a few permanent pages that users can return too for reference then that is more website like. Wordpress is a Content Management System (CMS) which encompasses both genres.
You can call it whatever you like, it is a website and a blog. A blog is simple a "roll" of content, which all Wordpress websites have. It means that as you create content, it goes to a blog and by default this is the default for all wordpress websites.
So it is a website and a blog. :)
How do you get people to your blog if your homepage is a static page and not your posts page? I am having trouble getting my brain around this for some reason, there seems to be no organization or ease of use to the blog, people would have to want to keep scrolling through content as opposed to picking what they want off a menu of some sort.

Thanks so much. Yap, when I upgrade the polldaddy subscription, I would be able to do so, but for now am getting started with everything
Got ya ! I wish at the end of the survey it would take you back to your website. Maybe there's a way to make it do that ?
Thanks a million for finishing the survey. Yes there's a way you can do that if you upgrade to a premium which I will do later as I get to know more about the niche. Thanks again

Funny as. I have the same dilemma. Easy to forget stuff when you get distracted!
