What do you Do?
In finding purpose in ones life, answering the question, what do you do? this becomes a very interesting notion for some of us.
Knowing what you do is obviously half the battle but knowing what you do is part of knowing who you are, and that is critical for success.
My business mentor asked me what I do when I first met, seemed like a pretty obvious question.
I didn't like my own answers and since then, it has always been a point of reference when I ask myself if I am happy. What is it I do that makes me happy?
I am an Internet Entrepreneur who helps other like minded individuals find tangible opportunities to make money online.
Sounds a lot better then Affiliate Marketing, if you ask me anyways.
The business mentor used the example of being an accountant. Now I don't want to insult any accountants however saying " You're an Accountant " might not get too much excitement out of somebody.
What if you said, " I help individuals and small business owners save money from being ripped off from the government? "
Well, I might want to know more for sure!
Purpose and understanding who we are and what we do is something we all struggle with. Some of us handle it better then others but it all starts from within.
Having the confidence you need comes from having a true understanding of not just your passion but how it serves real purpose. This creates the need and desire for production, for you to go out and serve the people you want to help.
It's Saturday and some of us are enjoying some family time, some of us are probably just tinkering around a little bit. Some of us are working on our sites and our contents. Have a fantastic weekend and be happy and have fun no matter what it is.
I am an Affiliate Marketer when you get right down to it. That really does mean I am an Internet Entrepreneur who helps other like minded individuals find tangible opportunities to make money online.
What do you do?

Mike's thinking about the classic 'elevator pitch'.
I think there are days I would nail it, and others when I would descend in a totally blithering mess, LOL.
So, building on Mike's question, if you could be stuck in a lift with an influential person you could sell your business idea to, in only 60 seconds...
Who would it be?
What would you say?
And why?
Hello Jared, great question and I love the answer that you help people find ways to make money online, I am paraphrasing.
I work full time and between 15- 20 hrs a week on developing my sites for eventual income. That's what I do! I aspire to be a full time affiliate marketer so I can move to a better and cheaper place to live...and just keep going!
Have a great weekend!
Enjoyed your post Jared, that question can be perplexing until the answer becomes part of us, that self belief makes it second nature and then we can beam it to the world.

A great comment Jared. I learned something in my transportation career from a very professional gentleman that I was call on one day. His question to me, "why are you here"? Kind of similar to your topic. A person has to define in their own mind what they are doing and why they are here.
