Stay in the Now
It is easier said then done.
According to the laws of the Universe though,
You cannot be upset if you are thinking good thoughts.
If you smile.
It's impossible and that impossible is a great thing.
So if you feel overwhelmed, or lost or upset. If you are leaning to the side of weakness rather then the side of strength...
Stop and breath and think about anything that makes you smile.
Force yourself to smile, fake it for a moment if you have to...
Living in the now means you didn't think about grabbing the bull by the horns...
It means you are already holding those horns, with all your strength to make the next decision.
Easier said then done, unless you want it.

It really does take focus to be in the present.
I can spend so much time thinking about future things that I want to do, but what helps me to focus on the "now" is taking a stroll through the park near where I live.
