Indexed in Google, high rank in Yahoo!
Hi Folks!
Amazing stuff today! Two days ago, I have created the post within SiteContent, under the keyword how-to-write-good-content-for-website and published it also through Site Content!Check below the proof about publishing!
And You know what? The post was indexed straight away next day by Google. Check below the message I have received from Wa about indexing!
Amazing! But, the best part comes now: the post landed on the first page of Yahoo, on place 9. Check below the proof taken it before writing this blog, by visiting Yahoo from my lap top!
I was really very surprised about it, because, in Google I couldn't find the post not even under first 20 pages!!
Anyway, all I did about creation of that post was following:
- before writing it, brainstorming about the post I want to write
- searching on Jaaxy for the right key-word for the post
- creating unique content around that key-word
- published it through SiteContent
Boom..that's it!
So, I am wondering about the different criteria regarding ranking between the search engines! Anyway, it is great to see the post landing on first page of any Search Engine, and this within just two days? Actually, one day, created on 4th of March, ranked on 5.th of March!
Great keyword and good content, nice SEO made it possible! So much fun!
It shows that it is possible to get significant rank pretty quickly, with the right keyword and content around it.
This is a boost to content creation! And prove to all others that learning, going through training here at WA, creating content and taking action can bring results!
This is proof that learning and taking action here at WA is the right thing. This is my first time be ranked so high on a specific key-word on Yahoo!
I am really exited! Looking forward getting good rankings on Google too!

I admit that I still do not understand all this story about ranking. Sometimes I rank my blog immediately but in some cases never. And I don't see the differences.

Thanks! Yes, this is same for me. The algorithms, the crawlers, the different between SE it makes it that way. I think that this is to make the creators more competitive and to put more valuable content in their creations.
It happens to me that my all pages or posts are indexed according to Search Console, but this is the first page ranked so high.
Also, great ranking on Yahoo, but by far not at Google. In any way, it is interesting to see the progress and to follow the rank.

Hi Kristy, thanks a lot. I was really impressed myself. Just happened good ranking. But, you know, there is a saying: "one bird doesn't make a flock of birds".
So I need to put some more efforts in it to achieve more good rankings and gain significant traffic, and finally, hopefully, sales.
Still, it is a great impulse and a sign it is possible!

Right, Veronica! "Long Leave The WA!" I am having fun! I like the whole environment at WA! SiteContent is great because I can write, edit, get the picture, create, store and publish content in one place. I am using also some more tools besides SiteContent, but this platform is awesome!

I think it's just that it was a new tool, I initially got a bit intimidated by Site Content. It took me about 2 months - maybe longer - to even read Carson's post about it, lol.
