I've been trying to make some money here at WA, and I just haven't yet. It's been about three months, and not a single sale. Is this normal?
many factors at play..
does your content even rank
is the content appealing
if they do find your content, where are they dropping off (look at heatmaps)
Thats a start...
Yes, don't get too disheartened. It takes time to start earning. You need traffic before you will get any sales and to get traffic you need to write like a madman!
It took me around 4 or 5 months before I made any money and it only started trickling in at the start. If you read my progress reports on my blogs you will get a better picture.
Work hard, focus on helping your audience and the money will eventually come.
Completely normal, I am living that as well. I know it will pay off, just have to keep grinding brother!
Ian that is a great question. Thee months is not a long time to be in business. The internet is a huge place. There is a learning curve in everything. Give yourself some time to grow.
That is the outer crust . The inner crust. I have some questions.
How much traffic are you getting? Conversion rates are not always that great. If you get 100 visitors. If 5 people buy something that is good. But as far as I know that is a pretty average estimate of how sales work online.
So you need a lot of Relevant traffic. That may take time. Good Keyword research and good Site and Post Structure.
In short... If you are not getting a lot of Relevant traffic and your site is not a good place to convert sales. You will have a problem. But keep learning and pushing.
Hi,
Yes, it is normal. Don't give up, it is consistency and persistence, that wins the race. Have you checked out Bo's Gogetter group? Just type in gogetter in the top search, and the training should pop up. I have learned a lot from his videos, you might too.

Like the other guys said here, yes. It's totally normal. Think about those successful YouTubers and how it took them some time to get where they are now.
Grace is showing a great example from her own experience.

There are several terrific tutorials being offered right here at WA.
All you need to do is type the word "backlinks" (without the quotation marks, of course) into the textbox at the very top of this web page and... VOILA!
See screen print below...
Hope this helps you.
