That is a plugin that I already installed and then deleted because I could not figure out how to use it. I am very unskilled with computers.
I use the Easy Table of Contents plugin and love it. Once you install it, you just input what headers you want to be picked up for your TOC and it will do it automatically for every post.
Then whenever someone clicks on a post, it automatically loads it right after the intro.

As I'm writing my posts, I just have to be mindful of the header sizes I use when creating different sections. But my writing template is pretty standard for all posts, so once I set up the Easy Table of Contents, I haven't had to touch it again--my kind of plugin!
I just wish I understood all this stuff! What is easy for you all, goes right over my head!

I'm confused. I posted links to Amazon on my site. My niece bought some books from that link but I have not gotten a commission or even a response from Amazon. What gives?
Amazon does not send you emails when you get sales or orders, you need to login to your account to check.
But yes as some indicated below, they are very good at knowing if they are your friends and family that are making the purchases.
And no, you definitely can't use your own affiliate links to buy.
Try not to do this anymore or else, they will just ban you all together.
You need to read the contract closely. It states that you can't send family to your links and you can't use them yourself. I have done the same thing, they haven't done anything about it yet, but I have heard others say they can delete my account with them. So I have stayed away from having family use my links.

When you join affiliate programs, especially Amazon, you need to be familiar with their Terms & Conditions (they may have a different term for it) of the program. You can find this in your Amazon Associates Dashboard.
Of course, you are right. I didn't really understand what I was doing when I joined Amazon. I was just following the training and not really understanding everything.
Might be a silly thing to say, but have you completed the affiiliate bank details correctly, I was in the same posistion and had the devils own job to get my details right, even when they directed me how to do it : )

My mother-in-law purchased some items, and I never got anything. They somehow know. Go on to the earnings tab on you stripe strip. You will be able to see clicks from your posts, purchases and earnings. You will not see the earnings until the items have shipped, and still there will be a bit of delay before the earnings show up. Amazon also won't pay out until you are actually off of their probation, meaning 3 separate purchases within the first 6 months. They will hold on to it, and after you have gotten your 3 sales, they will notify you that you are official with them, and shortly after you will receive a notice of the funds being releashed for payment.

Yesterday I was registering at the Amazon for my Affiliate programs but I found out that my mobile number that I used at their site is not recognized by their system.In this case I cannot received any return calls from them for my Code or PIN to verify my account.
In that case I'm not able to verify my account with them therefore I cannot be able to used their site for my Affiliate Program.I hope this explanation that I face with Amazon will give some hint for your issue also.

I read something on the associates page saying they changed the pay on some books. I know I have my books for sale on there and I will not make commission if someone buys them.
I was using that as an example. Go to your amazon associates account and read the part about payment for books toward the bottom of the page.
At the risk of displaying my total ignorance...I do not know how to access my account with Amazon. I am TOTALLY new at all this. I am not even done with level three of the training.
Go to google and look up amazon associates. Do you remember your user name or password. If not you will need to reset them. If you do remember then log in.
It may also be that you have not met the pay threshold. Meaning you only get paid if you make a certain amount. When u meet that amount then they will pay you.
But they don't contact you when you make a commission? I will check it out further tomorrow. I am tired tonight. It is past midnight here in New York.

I see you got your answer, Any image I use is first uploaded into my media library and never deleted from there. I download from the internet to my desktop then I upload to wealthy affiliate media and I can use it anytime or on any post I want.

When I click on the broken image link, a prompt is displayed (see screen print below).
So, if you used that image from another website that may be your issue. Without seeing the actually HTML link you used, it is difficult to say for certain.

Don't forget to use the Featured Image option. I was quite awhile accepting that option. Now, I would never want to be without it.

Virginia, did you download the picture into your media library? You have to have it in your media library and LEAVE it there. If you delete it from the library, it will disappear from your site as well.
Go into your website backoffice and where it says media on the left hand side, it will say library and add new to the right. The media library is where you want to keep all your pictures that are on your site and remember to leave them there. Your media library can hold tons of pictures.
You just got that much more knowledgeable. Now go back to where you started here at WA, can you honestly say you're the same person. I bet not! Go girl you are making us proud of you!

The image URL is broken (incorrect) and Wordpress can't found it
Go to your media library, search for the image, copy the URL and replace it in your post
I can't give you an exact step by step process Virginia because that depends on too many factors like your theme, your Wordpress editor, etc and it can be done in many different ways
But here's the thing: open the post for editing, delete the old image and insert it again as you did with all your images before ... I guess you are going to upload an image from your computer ... If so, check it out if it works or not on your computer ... maybe the Wordpress media library link is OK but the image file itself is corrupted

This plugin prevents users on your website from using CTRL+C and other CTRL combinations. Also prevents right click so they can't save your images or highlight and copy.

His sites aren't popular because he is lazy and won't try to create content and he copies all my links so he's linking back to my site which is how I found out.

It is awesome., but slowed my site down too much and had to uninstall it.

Click "Websites" on the left, then "Site Manager". Then under your website, you will see to the right hand side a link that says SitePlus+ with a number above it like 1/3 (this is assuming you didn't turn on SSL or SiteSpeed).
Click on SitePlus and toggle the buttons to "ON" for SiteSpeed and SiteSSL. That should give you https which secures your website and optimize your website so it loads faster.

I'm an artist Virginia, if I have created (draw) an idea in the graphic world, people can "copy" it but just by rendering it a little and maybe changing it somewhat they can get away with it.
