Ignore any of These 3, and Your Online business will suffer.
As we are tough, we spend most of our time, especially when starting, researching, and writing content for our websites.
You can spend all your time writing the perfect blog post, researching the less competitive keywords, and even ranking on google #1 place.
If you are not doing any of these 3, you are hurting your business!!!
#1 Building your email list
Yeah, Pedro, I'm just starting out, and I know nothing about email marketing is not for me!
You should do this ASAP. I strongly advise people that reach out to me to build an email list from "day 1".
Things to consider:
It is better to send an email every 15 days or 1 per month than sending one every week and then not sending it for 3 or 4 weeks.
Don't be salesy!
If you send promotions or affiliate links to every email, chances are you will not be too successful.
The trick is to over-deliver! Give way more than you ask.
If you gather an email on a CrossFit blog post and send that person emails about affiliate marketing, the chances are that will not convert very well!

#2 Plan Ahead, don't just go with the wind
Understanding that your website is your online business is a must! And like any other business, you need a business plan!
That's why you should plan and understand how you will monetize your website.
That's that time you say, Pedro, I will wait for my website to get enough traffic so I can monetize it with ads!
Yeah, sure, but meantime, what will you do?
Oh, I will place some affiliate links on my reviews, and BOOM!
Awesome, I must say!
You need to set up a framework for your website!

#3 Build keyword relevancy
Think about your website like if it was a house!
The idea is to create a blueprint/structure to figure out how to promote your "Sale pages."
Don't freak out just yet!
A sale page can be a product review or a program review, such as a "wealthy affiliate review."
So what you should do, instead of having affiliate links going out all over your posts, is to create [natural] internal links from regular blog posts to your "sales pages."
Doing this will boost your time-on-site, a vital google SEO metric, and build keyword relevancy to help you rank higher for specific keywords.
Make sure to check this training about how to Rank Your Product Pages Higher By Boosting Keyword Relevancy.
