One Page Express Theme - Creating A Great Website

Created a website for a local bi-monthly Startup Pitch Contest 757Pitch.org - appreciate the variety of WordPress themes that WA provides – giving us the ability to create a unique feel to each of our sites. One Page Express has been an interesting theme to use. One Page Express Companion provides the opportunity to customize page header graphics for each of the pages. Unfortunately, it doesn't integrate all the time with other widgets. Additionally, revising the copyright footer is a pain – but is possible. The best approach I've found is to use the Champion to get the site graphically where you want it - then deactivate Companion. This has worked well – installing Monster Insight, AddToAny Share Buttons, Floating Social Media and The Post Grid plugins have added to the overlook and functionality.
