SEO - Page One Ranking the WA Way!

The simplicity of the training here at WA never ceases to amaze me, nor surprise me. It has been a great year for my website as I look back and add up income received from multiple sources.

I would like to address two things in this post. One is how a post to my website, created using the simplest of teachings here at WA, ranked on page one of the search engines very quickly. The other item I want to pass along is a safety reminder for the holidays!

FIRE SAFETY

There is a national recall from the Kidde fire extinguisher manufacturer for small fire extinguishers. Given the holidays put lots of extra electrical demands on equipment, we would hate to see a fire that could have been prevented not get extinguished due to a faulty Kidde fire extinguisher!

MY PROCESS TO GET TO PAGE ONE

The link I listed above was created two days ago. I usually don't check page rankings in the search engines immediately. It is usually at least a few days to a week before I go to Jaaxy and use the Site Rank feature to see how my new page or post is doing.

For creating the post I am talking about here I used Jaaxy to search for keywords in regards to this recall. Given I am an RV inspector, and full time RVer, safety is a big deal to me.

Searching in Jaaxy I found a low hanging fruit keyword "Kidde Safety Recall."

Based on Kyle's discussions of a low hanging fruit keyword this looked pretty good! This would be part of my post's title.

I then decided to add another keyword phrase into my title. So I searched for a little broader keyword phrase and came up with this, "kidde extinguisher recall."

Now this has a much larger search of over 10,000 per month.

So I created my post title called: Kidde Safety Recall - Kidde Extinguisher Recall. I commonly combine keywords in my title.

If you visit https://yourfulltimervliving.com/kidde you will see how I created the post using lots of pictures. I added these keywords to them as well as an "alt text."

So, two days later I went to the Jaaxy Site Rank feature and checked my chosen keywords for my newest post. Here is what I discovered:

At the time of this blog I am on page one, position ten, in Bing and Yahoo. I am on page six, position sixty in Google. Sometimes when I do this for other posts it is the other way around, I am on page one of Google and much lower in Bing and Yahoo. It just depends on the low hanging fruit keywords I choose.

Now I did nothing else other than post the article, no indexing submittals, etc. I just wrote good content and submitted the article. I did not even use Jay's top ten things to do to get page one rankings. This was another test of my writing skills to see what I could do using the simplest of SEO techniques.

The main purpose of the post was for a Facebook post link and another post to add to my URL: usedrvinspection.com.

Will this new post continue to rise in the rankings? Yes! As I share it socially and get comment engagement Google will catch up. I can even go back and optimize a few more items to increase SEO. That is the great thing about having complete control of your website here at WA!

Hey, I am by no means an expert with all this! I am always learning more things as time allows me to engage the training and community. But, if you follow the basic training as Kyle has laid it out, similar results are attainable.

One more thing: did I monetize this post? No! But when people reach my website because of it, they have many opportunities to venture elsewhere and discover something they may not be able to live without! LOL
