i would get in touch with them and get it sorted
i hope you manage to sort it
i take it you have hit the ctrl+f5 to bypass your browsers cache

Thanks for the reply, Phil. (I didn't know where to put this question, since it wasn't about one of my several websites per se.)
I have cleared the cache recently, but I'll try what you suggest to bypass it.
Thanks again.
it may jsut be remembering your old persona as a premium member rather than premium plus....
but i have heard some have had issues - so if that doesn't work then reach out to Kyle and he will have it fixed....you do get priority treatment now.....

A private guest home that lists its availability on VRBO and AirBnb has agreed to set up an affiliate relationship with me.
However and understandably, he is concerned
AirBnB only has an affiliate program to sign up new hosts. VRBO is on ShopStyle - interesting choice for placing an affiliate program.
Perhaps this person would consider joining https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/affiliate-programs/turnkey-vacation-rentals
Their program is on ShareASale, so the tracking is excellent. Plus then TurnKey pays the commission instead of the individual property owner; it's just a benefit of working with TurnKey at no extra cost to the property owner.
Hi, that's the nearest I can find so far I'd keep looking

Absolutely, WA has taught us to use those keywords, use them, and enjoy a quick indexing.
Joe
I did a search, and there were 2-3 results which were not "local", which was surprising to me. Generally Google will rank Yelp and other local services though, but this may be an interesting term to go after. "Best Practice" Isn't Always The Best Path
Yeah, it won't work. When someone types "breakfast tacos near me" (without the quotes) then Google will give them a list of breakfast tacos in their own locality. Google uses geolocation so they know where everyone actually is when they use Google search.
Jay pointed out the geo location factor, which I had figured into this, but I wondered if it would produce traffic. I suppose no one would visit a site that offered this content unless it was truly "near" them.
Thank you, Marion and Richard!
It just won't appear in the SERPs unless it is actually near the searcher. Try it for yourself in an incognito window then ask a friend in a different location to do the same and compare results.

I’ve been reading about PPC, organic search, and back links. I know that we need to produce quality content and ranking will grow over time.
But if I understand t
Oh My Howard, will you look at that.
It's like the creme da la creme of WA has turned out to answer your question.
In fact, it kinda reminds me of the old "dinner party" question - past or present, who would be your ideal (WA) dinner party guests?
They're here.
Anyway, I digress...and to ruin that dinner party, here's little old me to bring you back down to Earth with a bump, LOL.
The only thing I would say about PPC in relation to SEO (which Dale, Phil and LD have all touched on) is that it MAY speed up certain SEO efforts.
PPC is usually viewed as a way to get eyes onto your page, sooner rather than later, typically to increase email subscribers or sales.
However, depending who who's clicking your ads there is a chance of increased mentions, shares and backlinks. SOME of the things you aim for to improve your rankings in the SERPS.
Additionally, traffic does have an impact on domain authority, which again could lead to higher rankings. But, a quick couple of months of PPC for a few thousands visitors will probably have no effect whatsoever on Domain Authority anyway.
So, the increase in quality content on your site and social methods (plus being patient) are probably the best way to go in order to receive these "mentions, shares and links" back to your content.
Partha
Partha, the dinner table is much richer now that you have joined the party. 😃
So good to see you.
I agree with you on PPC but it is so "iffy" and costly that, for now, during the core build stage of my business, I would not consider it.
During this stage I am investing and am therefore expecting to receive close to guaranteed returns.
Thank you for guiding us in the right direction.
Cassi
Aww, Thank you Cassi.
Yes, I agree. Tbh honest, LD has hit the nail on the head.
Use organic traffic and other free methods to start getting traffic and earning, and then look at reinvesting some of your profits into PPC.
Google and Bing both offer free voucher codes to "first-timers" (as long as you're investing money yourself). So, this isn't a bad way to test the water for a month.
However, I agree with start earning something first before testing PPC, as just with building your website, writing content, SEO, social media, etc. there is also a learning curve with PPC.
Partha
Right back at you Chrystopher. I'm always on the lookout and intrigued by whatever you have to say.
Partha
You are very welcome, Partha.
I ALWAYS welcome your contributions and knowledge.
Just like this one, they are very helpful.
Cassi
This is great, Partha; thanks so much for these pointers.
Plus, this is like the dinner party without my having to pick up the tab for multiple bottles of wine and everyone ordering dessert. (Or something like that...)
On a serious note, I do believe in the old saying "there's wisdom in a multitude of advisors," in that diverse opinions usually point us all to an even better solution.
Thanks to you, and to the others!
Organic search is far better, however, PPC can still serve a purpose in some cases.
For example, someone finds your site, as a result, subscribes to your email list and joins your Facebook group. Then perhaps they share/mention/tell others in person - all driving some traffic to you over time.
While it can play a part - it is probably a waste of time, money, and effort in most cases until organic traffic is producing enough revenue to spend some of it on PPC (supporting itself first).
Then again, that's just my opinion and as always individual results will vary.
Best regards,
L.D. Sewell
Howard,
Thank you for asking this.
I have been researching them and have concluded that I will not be using PPC at this point - perhaps not at all.
From my understanding, organic is always best and backlinks do a lot for your site's credibility (and therefore trust) with Google.
Good question and contributions.
Cassi
Cassi,
I was hoping you and the others would respond the way you did, because I was not looking to spend any more money at this point!
I tried Facebook ads a couple weeks ago, which as I understand are similar -- in that I pay more as people click -- but I saw no meaningful value being added to my site.
Thanks for your input.
You are welcome, Howard.
I have read horror stories about people sinking '000s of dollars into PPC only to crash land.
It does not seem to make much sense to me.
Build organically and look into backlinks.
Neil Patel offers some great strategies:

Let me know how you get on.
Cassi
Thanks again, Cassi.
I've read a few of Neil's things. Seems to know his stuff! I'll check this out.
P.S. regarding backlinks, I got temp banned from Quora, for adding my URL to my signature. Know anyone who's successfully used Quora for backlinks?
Howard,
Neil is GREAT!
I get a lot of good ides and strategies from him and subscribe to his mailing list.
Have a read of this blog on using Quora:
https://www.towermarketing.net/blog/forum-link-building-drive-traffic-with-quora/
The key thing is, like WA, not to spam.
But, if you connect to your content using long-tail keywords and relevance that seems to work for most.
I currently only use Quora for research and content building.

visitors to your site - from wherever show google that there is interest - along with other factors - like time on site and page hopping .
so ppc may drive traffic to your site for a short time - while you are paying for it - but this stops as soon as you stop paying
organic traffic is valuable as it is targeted traffic - interested enough to click on your link when they see the result - so again valuable and indicates to google that it was correct in returning your reslt...
backlinks from good sources will show google that part of the rest of hte internet sees yuor site as useful enough to link to.
you can start generating backlinks yourself - but it is very time consuming - by finding places where you can answer questions and drop a link to your site - being helpful rather than spamming.
so i would say in order
organic traffic - but this takes time
backlinks - take time
ppc- short term blip....
is ppc worth the money - it can be if used correctly for long term building of your business....
good luck

Phil,
Thank you so very much for explaining this so clearly.
I am working in the phase of traffic building and doing so organically.
Also, I am now taking off with backlinks and I am finding that there is a lot of potential there.
I see PPC as being an expensive 'blip' as you say and, for me, not something that I want to spend dollars on at this point.
A very helpful contribution.
