6. Strengthen your verbs
Transitive verbs create the best results and action.
Intransitive verbs contain power, too.
Linking verbs contain no motion and therefore weaken your sentence. They merely state that something is or is not. Therefore, convert linking verbs to stronger verbs.
I.e. The moon is blue. Change to: The moon turned blue.
Turn weak nouns into strong verbs. Drop the suffixes, ance, ment on these nouns and change "reliance" to rely; "acceptance" to accept; "treatment" to treat.
7. Always clarify the terms of your sentences. You as the author know exactly the meaning you intend, but does your audience know?.
8. Look for loose ends. You could be discussing something to which your audience hasn't been introduced, especially in a two or three part series. Plan your posts and pages carefully. Think about the questions your audience may have and answer those questions for your audience before they are asked.
