Momentum

We all know that momentum is a funny thing. It can be on your side when all is going great one minute and the next minute is like there was a huge crash and you were right there in the middle of it. It's a funny thing.

How many time have we seen our favorite sports team and it doesn't matter the sport. They will be rolling right along as nothing is in their way and for the moment.

They appear to be unstoppable. Then with one little shift that goes the other teams way everything changes and in the end, your team ends up losing the game.

I say all that to say that as I look at my website now I am so excited. I'm here now at my day job and I can't wait to get off so that I can go back home to work on my website yet I'm so sleepy from staying up until after 1am working on my site because it was so much fun to see something that I knew nothing about before WA, start to take shape into and income producing affiliate site.

I want this excitement to last forever but experience tells me that I probably won't be this excited always and work on my website may start to be more of a tedious chore instead of an enjoyable getaway from my JOB oriented life right now.

I am curious to know what the community here thinks of momentum and what do you recommend to keep the momentum going so that the ultimate goal of building a website that replaces a full time JOB income can become a reality for all who desire.

Hi Horace, your motivation rocks. Irv.

I feel like I have built up so momentum that will last away with this 30 day challenge that a few of us are doing.

I think to keep the excitement going make sure you don't overload yourself. Do one task daily and do it well. By the end of the year, you will have 365 brilliant achievements instead of 2,000+ mediocre jobs/results.

Stepcook is right about the why factor.

Agreed!

I have to agree with Stepchook. Motivation is down to your WHY. if your WHY is strong enough you can achieve anything

Hi adamnjames, your why is the key I think also. If that's strong enough you will be able to survive the wings in momentum. Thanks!

For me, it's very subjective. How hungry are you to succeed? How much does your livelihood depend on the success of your online business?

The answers to these types of questions - in my opinion - will drive your motivation levels.

I agree StepChook, how hungry are you and will you be unflinching in your resolve to succeed is huge. We all need to remember that. Thanks for your answer!

No worries, Horace. Glad I could provide some input.

Setting up calendar entries for working on your business has been helpful for me. Set aside the time, remove distractions from your work area and focus. Your incremental progress will keep the momentum going.

Your right onmyownterms, organization is a great tool for keeping momentum on our side.
