Go Up, Go Up

This idea is not original to me, but I heard it on the radio. I cannot find the author so I have to say unknown for now. So, there was a new pilot taking a flight and after he took off he heard scratching coming from underneath. He radioed to the control tower and says he hears scratching coming from underneath and he must land the plane.

The tower responds back, negative do not land but go up, go up.

The pilot responds back, but it's a rat scratching underneath I need to land immediately.

The tower responds back again, negative do not land but, go up, go up.

The pilot, almost in a panic at this time, says I have a phobia of rats I have to land the plane.

The tower responds again, negative go up, go up.

Finally the pilot does what the tower suggest and then he does not hear scratches any longer.

See, the tower knew that rats could not live at higher altitudes and the pilot would be safer if he simply ascended instead of landing.

The moral of the story - Listen to those who know more than you they are not trying to hurt you or steer you wrong they are trying to help you succeed.
