You may want to collect your EPP authorization code from Site Domains
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains
Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.
Just did a search Shopify can host your domain.
When you are ready
You can go here
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription
And cancel billing.
For any websites hosted here, you need arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases as you would be locked out the platform, site support back ups are only available for 60 days.
You can never revert back to being a starter.
I also suggest you backup your sites, you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended. However, not applicable here as you said it has no content.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I just transferred my domain to godaddy and got a notification that the transfer will go on hold until December 12th. Do I have to stay premium member to keep my transfer active to that date? What do you mean by locked out of the platform?

I would check with Shopify and see what their procedure is for transferring you domain to them.

Sometimes it's a matter of adding a word to what you want your domain to be. Get creative. They will often suggest other domain names that are available. Be patient. :-)

You Want to find a .com domain and also try not to use anything but letters. Not period or anything else..that's what I do know and learned it here on wealthy affiliate
If you use the research tab you can use jaaxy to perform domain searches and see what available and at the same time research keywords
