Troubleshooting my focus
Out of schedule
This week started all wrong. I have been totally out of schedule, unfocused and not able to do my daily tasks as planned. There have been too many distractions and I let myself be disratcted
I started on my daily tasks, but I was totally unfocused. I looked in my planner and told myself - concentrate on the 3 priority rasks. Could not even do that no matter how much I tried.
I felt like in a stalemate.
Troubleshooting focus
Went for a walk hoping it would help me become more focused.
It did not help. I did everything else than the tasks I was supposed to do.
I am sure you can relate to this feeling.
So I thought. Ok. Just relax. Do some Tai chi - It normally helps.
But it did not. I felt much better, but my focus was still not back on track.
So I told myself it was how it was. I had to try to do something worthwile.
What did I do this week?
I felt really ineffective and unproductive, but looking at what I actually have done this week made me realize that being out of schedule does not equals less productivity.
- Watched Kyles webinar and Nathaniells Webinar (recommended).
- Planned Q1 2021
- Made a new sign up form to a page on my second website
- Drafted the new page
- Planned a new project
- Scheduled my Twitterposts far ahead
- Research using some techniques Nathaniell showed in the webinar.
.- Played with my cat
- Listened to music
- housework
- Talked a lot in the phone with friends
- Went for walks
.- Commented on peoples posts
- Helped some WA members with some questions
- Writing when I felt like it and was focused.
I had some new posts indexed on Google and some new Rankings.
Push the reset button
Out of schedule is not that bad as it sounds or feels always.
Today I finally posted the first post of the week. I feel back on track.
Yes I am out of schedule and things were done in a different order this week than I normally do them but it is ok.I managed to reset my focus.
Have a great Week! Take care! Big hug!

There is no true schedule, Hilda...grin. we all work at our own pace.
Even 9-5 ers take a 1-2 week vacation. Being an online marketer doesn't mean you have to be there working 24/7...grin.
I'm glad you found something else to do. It helps to break up the routine, so your mind can process the info.
Even body builders work on different muscles every day (that they workout). Otherwise, the muscles won't get stronger.
You are exactly where you are meant to be!

Let me say it differently...even with a schedule, sometimes we need a break.
And after reviewing my comment, I apparently missed your point that you recognized not being in track and found a solution. That's awesome!
You always do a great job, Hilde!
Don't forget to sneak a little "vacation" in there every once in a while too. :-)

We all get ups and downs in our energy levels and sometimes you can’t force yourself to do things.
When this happens to me I just close the computer and do other things to just relax and then have an early night.
It’s like a mental reboot!
I’m sure you’ll be back on top form soon 🙂
Yes I feel back on track now and more focused.
