New Milestone - 300 + Email subscribers
I have focused on growing my email list this year since January and in the beginning of august I was blogging about reaching my first 100 subscribers.
Today I can celebrate another milestone on my journey.
I have followed advice from WA members as well as other marketers on building a list.
And I am happy to announce that today I got 386 subscribers in total.
My list have been growing quite steadily and only in one month I had a 111% increase or 179 new subscribers.
98,88% subscribed via a web form and the rest via landing pages.
Above you can see week for week how my list have grown. The best week I had 51 subscribers and the worst week I had 0.
So my tips to you newbies is to have a contact form on your page to collect your email subscribers as you can see it has worked out quite well for me.

Opportunities are always everywhere Simone :) We always have them all of us. It is just to discover them and make use of them. But yes it helps growing a list in many ways :)

Building a list is a great way to gain traffic to new posts and promote to when you have a product to sell. Keeping your subscribers happy is an art in its self, post too often or not enough and you send them to the unsubscribe button so test different frequencies and post types to see which keeps them on the list for longer.

I agree Mark. It is a good traffic source and way to get to know your audience better. Yes it is an art keeping people happy wether it is on email or anywhere else :) I write in my welcome email that I write emails several times a week. So they have a choice and know what to expect from me. I split test a lot. But there will always be people who unsubscribe for different reasons.
