It is a new day! 365 new days and new chances Ahead

I woke up this morning a bit later than usual. But waking up to a new year is always a special feeling. Dont`t you think so too?

I was thinking to myself. It is a New Year, 365 new days an chances to reach my hairy goals I have made this year. You can read about my goals in my previous blogpost.

A new year starts with You

My first day this year started with me. I did my morning mindset routine and I went for a little walk outside in the dark (still darktime here). When I came home I opened my Daily Planner. The page is not blank. It is full of daily tasks I can do today to reach my hairy goals.

It does something with you to see the date 01.01 in the planner. A feeling of exitement, curiosity and joy mixed with thoughts like I can totally rock this year to - Am I going to make this year better? The first day of the year. Does not matter what year it is. The first day is always special.

New Year Intention

This year is going to be the best because you and me are going to make it the best!

Going into the first day with the intention of making the best out of this year is the easy part. The hard part is of course living up to your intentions.

But If you want this year to be better and life changing - the change have to start with you as I mentioned before.

The next thing I had written in my planner today with Big letters was:

FOKUS ON THE PRIORITY TASKS!

Last year I had only 3 Priority tasks a day, but since I have set my goals quite high this year I need to increase the number of my daily priority tasks as well. Now I have increased them to 6

Todays Priority tasks look like this

1. Set your weekly goals on website 1 and 2. 30 Minutes

2. Write for at least 30 minutes for each website

3. Make the siocial Media Schedule for the week for both websites. 1 hour

4. Send a New Years Newsletter for both websites. 30 minutes

5. Do 1 hour research for new posts for both websites

6. Read for 30 minutes

= 4 hours of tasks minimum

Priority tasks are tasks you need to do every day to reach your goals in case you wonder. You might do more tasks like writing a WA blog, giving site comments, maintaining your website.When you have your tasks ready it is so easy to go ahead and do them. One by one you check them out.

I was not found of planners earlier. I thought I could have it all written in my head.

But I learned that with a planner you do not have to go around and remember everything, because you write your thoughts down instead. And this way you will not forget any essentials..

Relying solely on your memory is not the best way to plan. I guarantee you you will forget something unless you have an extraordinary glue brain.

I have already planned my year in as much details as I can. I have made my overall goals and broken them all the way down to my daily goals and priority tasks. My priority tasks are really my broken down goals. I know if I do them I will come a step closer to my goal.
