Action Matters
Just som Friday Thoughts about Action. After 17 months at Wealthy Affiliate and as an affiliate partner on different platforms I have heard, experienced and registered something I want to address today.
People who take action is the ones who succeed.
For most people their online Journey starts with a dream or a goal they want to achieve.
And most online startups do not know where to start and How to start.
Just like me it was a leap of fate I found Wealthy Affiliate. I was looking for a place where I could learn to build a solid online business.
Starting is hard if you are on a low budget or have no money.
And that goes for a lot of people who are looking for opportunities online.
If you are a startup reading this or you are thinking of starting up you need to be prepared to take action.

Wealthy Affiliate have 1,400,000+ members now, but how many of them are real action takers?
I have got many WA referrals, but only 1 out of them actually made a website on the free trial, but did not bother to buy a domain and continue after the free trial.
I have talked with people on other platforms who told me they have not suceeded with Wealthy Affiliate. When I dig deeper almost everyone of them left after the free trial. And most of them did not even bother to create a website. These people are not action takers.
But these are often the people you hear saying - It does not work. I tried it. So be careful who you listen too. Always ask what actions they took.
Asking them why , most of them told me they did not have money. or they did not want to use time writing a blog and going through training. Too much work. Too hard. Too high expectations. They did not have a realistic mindset.
But all of them agreed that Wealthy Affiliate was an awesome platform to be on. They had enjoyed it while they were there.
But this is not special for Wealthy Affiliate Platform. I am sure if you start looking into the platforms you are on today you will see the same.I actually urge you to do it.
Another platform I am a member of have 91K members.337 action takers and 91 VIP members.
No matter what platform I looked at the majority of members on the platforms were non - action takers. They were only curious.
You cannot say it did not work if you never took Action
The truth is you did not even try.
You did not want it enough.
You were afraid to fail.
The truth is as long as you do not take action you will never succeed.
Do not expect money to rain on you from day 1.
The money will come if you are willing to put in some effort.
Wealthy Affiliate Premium members and Plus members are the action takers
By taking action you activate your focus on your goals. You become a shooting rocket preparing to take off. You made a wise decision that may change your life if you do not give up.
Action Pays off
Following a blueprint for success demands action. The right actions and a consistent Action plan to follow. Here at Wealthy Affiliate you get all you need to succeed.
The only thing you need to do is to take action on it and it will pay off.

Hello Hilde,
Like you, it has not been easy to attract referrals, much fewer sales, to Wealthy Affiliate. I take full responsibility for not taking sufficient action to get the results I seek.
Hence, I am reviewing my approach and making changes. After I discussed my status with my wife just yesterday, she recommended I devote 6 hours a day to my business instead of 2. And to do the work mainly during the day instead of late at night. This means making changes to my daily schedule.
She wondered what exactly I was doing. When briefly discussed what Affiliate Marketing was, she got it right away. It was she who deduced I was writing product reviews to help visitors make an informed buying decision.
Until now, I have been exclusively focusing on the MMO niche. This is the most competitive and also arguably, the most rewarding. But it would be nice to get commissions from sales to products people buy for their personal needs.
With that In mind, I created a new website to do just that. But I will NOT be abandoning my MMO site. I have too much vested in it to let that go. In fact, with the extra time, I will be devoting to my business, I will be increasing my efforts.

I am just like you, Edwin. In my case it is a bit understandable as I came here just for hosting for my lead generation websites. But after building an affiliate site a few months back, and repivoting after a rethink during my short break, it is about time to take action.
To the action takers and the value givers- and hopefully success achievers 😜

Does this mean you are going to use the leads you attract from your leads generating sites to introduce them to Wealthy Affiliate? If you can do that successfully, you could be on to something.

I joined WA in February of this year. I have taken action and created a website with 35 posts. I really love writing about my niche (gardening). You're so right, you need to take action. Even though I have not earned any money I still keep trying. I know in my heart this will pay off. It's just a matter of time and action. Thanks for the post and the reminder!

Hello Hilde, thanks for the reminding me and to all who wants to move on in life. It's about our action & choices we make to build our connections within and then moving out. During the past three months I have got a lot of referrals. But none of them has even uploaded a profile pic nor upgraded.
I’m still wondering what’s wrong. Is it the membership that is too expensive for them. Is it that they are not willing to blog, or maybe WA that isn’t converting anymore ... I have no idea.
As you said, only action takers will see results.

I just think people often think it is a superhighway to passive income. Many want to, but do not want to put in the work needed.
For others it may be the money. They want everything for free.
