What's Your Name Got To Do With It?

I have got a very long surname - Hilary Bassakaropoulos. I decided to shorten it to hilarybassak for online marketing purposes. The reason I did this was to make it easier for my followers to remember. Your name is a very important part of your marketing if you are trying to build a brand online.

Some people prefer to use the name of their company, but whatever you decide, the sooner you buy the domain name, the better and create a" yourname.com" website. Next thing I would suggest you do is upload the prettylink lite plug-in to your websitel.

This means you can create links to all your social media sites that are easy for your followers (and you) to remember:

For example http://yourname.com/facebook http://yourname.com/twitter

You can have your WA joinup link as http://yourname/WA.

If you are selling a product the link to it cah be yourname/product. Pretty Link will automatically track the clicks to each link and that makes it so easy to check on the progress of your marketing.

As well as that itis much easier for broadcasters on livestream to be able to address you with your name rather than a strange username. Hope this helps.
