No More New Year's Resolutions!
- Looks like New Year's Resolutions are just not working for most of us according to all the surveys that I have read anyway. So what are the options? How do you get past the failures of 2014 and learn from them. Letting them go by writing them down and then burning the piece of paper is a start.
What's next on your agenda for 2015? Set aside a few hours or even a day and figure out what you really want to have and to be by this time next year
Set a clear intention of your goal and chunk it down into bite size pieces. Visualize it. Believe that you can make progress towards it and that you will achieve your goal.
These things will not guarantee your success but they are a darned sight better than making those resolutions that you have been making year after year.

All my major achievements in life happend with a lot of visualization, and a psychotic belief that my goal would come to fruition.
thank you so much for this, it's truth is refreshing. definitely something we have to keep in mind.
Exactly and I love how you put it so succinctly. It's so arbitrary to make a New Year's resolution. Have resolve and act. That's the whole point of being here at WA. One can choose to start on X dates or because it is a holiday or a birthday. It makes more sense to start because you now have the time, resources. Or just desire and action, find your way to realize things you intend on doing.

I am sure vast majority of us have struggled with "failed" resolutions. I think it's less daunting if you break it into smaller chunks. One day at a time is easier than seeing a whole year ti
