Are You Making The Most of Alexa?

When I first got Alexa I used her to create my shopping lists and to remind me about up and coming webinars and events/appointments. Sometimes I would use her as an alarm or just ask her abbout the weather, the latest news etc. I also found it helpful to tell her to remind me when to post on different social media platforms, write a blog, create a video, even read a book.

I had a lightbulb moment the other day when I realised that I was not taking advantage of the many other ways I could use her. So I made more lists -one for ideas that I can just add when they come to mind, a wish list, lists to add tips for each of the social media platforms that I use, a list for apps I have already and ones I want to try, a list for tasks I need to do in preparation for moving home. It's endless really. Song lyrics, headlines for my posts, tags for Instagram.

I haven't noticed many posts about Alexa on WA and I am wondering if any of you have any other ideas on the subject and whether you enjoy Alexa as much as I do.

I have three of them of all shapes and sizes and all we ever do is listen to music or get her to switch the lights on or off. ha ha ha.

I've got a couple of them I use them to learn languages (the command for that is daily dose) and sometimes I get her to turn on the TV. One day I was doing a Facebook live and completely out of the blue Alexa started talking about flatulence! I was so embarrassed but all I could do was laugh along with my audience

I love Alexa

Me too

I've looked at Alexa but I don't use it. Will have to look again..

I am too low tech to have Alexa, but I sure enjoyed the SNL episode on Amazon Silver Echo. Did you see it? It's hilarious.
