Are You Fed Up with FaceBook?
Most of us are fed up with the fact that FaceBook only shows our FB posts to a very tiny percentage of our friends or followers. It sometimes seems like a waste of effort to bother posting there at all. Don't get me wrong I know that FaceBook is really good if you know how to use their ads platform for lazer targeting and retargeting. That is a learning curve and a skill that can be very lucrative.
There are some great strategies that you can use with FaceBook Groups and if you are good at prospecting and don't mind chatting or picking up your phone then you can definitely make money on Facebook.
However if you are someone who spent a long time building up a large following on Facebook only to find that the vast majority of them will not be seeing your posts, then you could be forgiven for thinking that maybe it was a complete waste of time. You may even have been boosting your posts or paying for likes -was that just like throwing money down the drain?
What if you could find a free platform where all of your followers see all of your posts, where you can promote your business without having to pay for the privilege. Well I was introduced to such a platform but I didn't bother to use it much because I didn't stop to realise just how valuable an asset it is.
Today I was watching a mastermind and one of the leaders told us that he was moving his company's Facebook group on to this platform so that he could be sure that all the members would be able to see all the new posts. Hallelujah!

Yep I wasted time building a business page following years ago Hilary, only to have it eroded bit by bit until all the work was for nothing.
Got no time for FB now.

I am at the stage where Kyle tells you to Join FB /Instagram and Twitter etc. Reading your comments and Linda103 it seems Fb is and Issue, and also I see you recommend, the new site, so both of you are very experienced so should I use the new platform instead of FB, I have no problem doing that??

No you should use both and join lots of different platforms - these are the places you will be able to promote your offers. Although FaceBook only show your posts to about 7% of your friends and followers there are free ways to make money there by using groups as well as that FB is brilliant for targeting and prospecting. Join FB groups relevant to your business and your interests. This gives you the opportunity to engage with like minded people and at the end of the day that is what creates the leads and sales Now is the time to create as many targeted followers as possible to add to your list. I agree with Hilary, you should still have a presence there on FB. You do need to be on as many platforms as possible.to share your posts to and get seen.
It will be hard at first but you will quickly get the hang of it. The faster you build your following the better.
