Greetings! My name is Christina and my aim with WA is to earn an income as a full-time student of online business. I love learning (almost anything) but, rather perversely, that usually costs money in the "normal" world rather than rewards you in this virtual world of ours.

I live in the UK (you know, the nation that came SECOND at the Rio Olympics - woo hoo!) and am overwhelmed by the digital activity that goes on in my own city of Brighton let alone the globe. We have a huge number of small, start-up, digital companies and we are also a world centre for media. I am determined NOT to be overwhelmed anymore but, rather, to be a key player by learning all the expertise that's on offer here at WA.

Professionally I have worked in many different sectors in all kinds of capacities (from high fashion to local politics). I've studied European business and also trained in radio news broadcasting.

My personal interests include news and current affairs, cultural influence, reading biographies and classic comedies, singing acapella (to myself!), mountain-related activities AND I love rice and spice.

Following Rio 2016 I now also love every sport that we've won a gold medal in ;)

Money Goals
Being pretty much self-employed I have all the time I need to invest in achieving all kinds of goals. Financially, though, I would be happy to be earning several $000 a month within the next 3-6 months, and ecstatic (if that's really the right word for my personality!) to be making a high 5-figure sum within a year.

I may, however, revisit these goals over the next few weeks or so as I progress with my learning and perhaps become aware of greater possibilities.

You absolutely can and you will achieve these goals (and likely beyond) Christina! Dedicate yourself to your goals and take action on what you learn here. Action leads to success and I have never seen anyone fail that doesn't quit.

I look forward to working with you and do let me know if you need a hand along the way. :)

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Hey, thanks Peter, I appreciate your offer of help. Actually I'm just in the throes of doing the blindingly obvious and going through the training to apply to two websites I already have but which haven't yielded much business yet simply because I had no knowledge of how to market the websites. Der!!

Anyway, I wonder if I could ask you a couple of things:

One of my sites is on Wordpress already (summersandking[dot]com) and the other is currently with Wix (thefathersheart[dot]uk).

1. Would I be able to somehow transfer them over to Siterubix so that they're all together here?

2. Let me know what you think of the sites as they are currently. The first one is more or less for the global market, the second is really more for the Christian market.

Thanks Peter!

Your sites look great Christina! As you stated, it's time to market those websites and a great way of doing that is by getting organic traffic from Google. What we'll want to do for either one is add a blog.

You have the pages & services down, which is great. Now by talking about general information related to those site topics, you can leverage your services by getting targeted traffic to those sites and people who will be interested in what you have to offer.

Both websites are awesome and I like how you have services to offer. There are minor concerns with the second website since Google places stricter guidelines on smaller websites with eCommerce. As long as you added a disclosure and your physical contact information, you should be fine.

I like the first website as well, because it actually is targeting to a specific niche, which is users who need some kind of editing or proof-reading. That's the type of content you'd want to have in your blog.. Ex: "How to write or edit your college submission essay" Something like that, lol.

To better answer your question, both websites could work out just great. The most important thing to consider here is your blog/content strategy moving forward.

Sorry for the long response, but great job on your sites. If you need any other help, just let me know!

Oh and yes, you'll be able to transfer them to WA by switching your nameservers with your existing hosting company.

This is great, Peter, thanks!

Regarding the second website (The Father's Heart) - what do I need to know concerning Google's stricter guidelines do you think? What's the deal with a disclosure? Can you perhaps elaborate on that? Also (sorry!) when you talk about adding my "physical contact" do you mean I should add other contact information than simply the contact page facility? Why is that?

I am currently looking at the Get Started lessons to pick up the key info I need to market both sites focusing, for now, on the editing/proofreading site. I've just used the Jaaxy facility which is SO helpful and I'll be re-writing the content accordingly.

2 further questions if you don't mind (!):

1. Is it really so important to have a blog on these two websites? Is it true that potential customers are likely to connect if they see the person behind the business (i.e. an 'About Me' page) ? Does that not rather detract from the professionalism of it and make it a little too "domestic"?

2. I am looking at transferring them over to WA - is that easy? The proofreading one is Wordpress, the other one is currently with Wix.

SO sorry for these long questions but the more help I get in these first few days, the quicker I can proceed onto Premium and progress from there.

Cheers! :)

Hi and welcome to WA Christina! I'm Peter and I actually referred you here to WA through my website and thought I'd introduce myself while offering you my help and assistance.

I'm glad to see you've taken the first step to a very profitable and lucrative business. This site has helped me do so much that I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise.. From being able to work on my own time to growing my income month after month, WA has been the way to go!

I hope you're enjoying the community so far and are ready to learn all that there is about affiliate marketing. I'd recommend with the getting started course, which is the big green button on your upper left, or you can feel free to use the link below: The training is going to walk you through step-by-step on how to begin setting up your new website and turn that into a full-time business. You'll have everything you need here to make that happen.

I know you're going to do great here and I can't wait to see how you progress with your new business. If you have any questions or need any help at all, feel free to ask away. Let's start the year strong!

Cheers,
Peter

Hello back.

Only just arrived on this website so I'm going to spend today looking round and learning. I very nearly joined SFM this morning but did a quick investigation online and postponed that decision. Meanwhile, I found (your?) recommendation to WA and here I am.

Christina.
