Good question! I don't know. I was going to ask that as well. Let's see what everyone has to say... If I was in the art, home decor, design niche, I would trade with you. It would be benefical to my website to advertise for you, but not sure if it would be visa versa...
Do any wa members ever exchange advertising space?

If you don't have a compatible niche, maybe some of you can collaborate with each other? I'm happy to facilitate - I think it would be beneficial to everyone!

If so, we should band together and compare some notes!
I will be adding some Home Decor to one of my websites since the items go well with that particular niche. I'm afraid I don't know too much about the Fine Art aspect though. I'm just a country boy lol

Anybody else out there in the Fine Art niche? Home Decor, maybe?

I changed my mind about what I wanted one of my site titles to be, so I edited the title in WordPress, within my theme, and linked up a matching domain. All good!
However,
Yes Katie I agree that you can't change the domain name and that would have been what she used as a title in the Build My Website, but why couldn't that domain stay in there and the Title in the WP settings be something entirely different? The url would be xxxxx.com but it would be linked to the title in the General Settings page? It may not be good for SEO but couldn't you get around that by focusing the SEO info around the title in the General Settings page?
No once you have chosen your domain name it is set in stone so to speak you would have to create a new website with the name you now want
hi hhendri3, if the problem is with the WA platform, not Wordpress, then you need to contact the WA technical support. at least that's what i did when i had problems with my site. hope this helps.
i haven't seen this so im not sure what you mean? what does it say as far as your actual url? tts what really matters and is what the search engines are going to be seeing
Wow. I didn't know this topic was 4 months old! I would still like the answer if someone knows.
When I setup "Build My Website" I entered my domain name as the Website name. Like: xxxxx.com Is that where you mean? I don't know if you can change that. I believe that's part of the URL.
Then after you log in you go to "Settings" and in General Settings you place your Title and tag.
So it is the Build My Website title you are concerned about? Maybe someone will confirm or at least respond on this topic.
The easiest way to go about it is to delete the domain unfortunately and start again. Just make a note of your desired theme and once you have created a site with the correct desired name, just reload it. I'm assuming you've just started working on the site. It could be once. Export/save your site in case you want to reproduce any content so you can have a reference point
Have you tried the refresh button? After you make the changes tap on the refresh button and hopefully the name will show as changed. I'm pretty new so don't know much myself but I hope this works.
Hi Raven, thanks for commenting. I'm not sure if I described the problem very well. When I click on "Build My Website", it is the title in the "Website Name" column that I want to be able to change. Since I don't know how to change it, I don't expect it to have changed intuitively. Let me know if you have any idea what I'm talking about.
