YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR DESTINY!

Positive thoughts of how you would like your success to play out is putting yourself at the helm. You are the one responsible for directing your own course. Steering clear of the obstacles is all part of your journey. However, when you hit them, you learn and continue on in a better direction!

YOU ARE THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR SHIP!

Picture yourself as the captain of your own ship. You give all the orders, navigate the course to your destination, make all the decisions, contemplate upcoming storms and steer your ship, standing at the helm.

Visualize sailing to your destiny in smooth and sometimes choppy waters, with endless miles between you and success. Every mile traveled brings you closer and closer. Staying on course is difficult, but you do it anyway!

Laying out the map ahead gives you direction. Looking far off in the distance makes your thoughts drift to the arrival---when you dock at success!

YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY!

You are in charge, in command, in control, in the driver's seat, being completely responsible and in authority. You call all the shots and are running the show, holding the reins, in the saddle.

So, make proper and wise decisions, always looking forward to the prize. All too often, when your mind goes adrift in a different and unfamiliar direction, you question your ability to reach your goal.

You wouldn't stop your ship in the middle of uncharted waters---but would continue on no matter what! In the ocean, your life would depend on it!

LET'S TALK A LITTLE HISTORY, SHALL WE?!

In 1492, Explorer Christopher Columbus left Spain to begin one of the roughest journeys know to man. Traveling with three ships across the Atlantic, he ventured out to try to find a water route from Europe to Asia. However, he was unsuccessful.

But that wasn't the end of his quest! Instead of accomplishing what he set out to do, he came upon the Americas purely by accident and colonized the people who lived there. This developed a route to America, constituting hundreds of years into the future of transatlantic trade.

Columbus' determination and skill made him one of the greatest explorers of all time. His accomplishments in life served him well.

What if he had given up or had not attempted his voyage?

When admitting defeat, he pressed forward and accomplished an even GREATER feat!---An achievement that required a great amount of courage, skill and strength!

SO, WHAT DOES THIS TELL YOU?

Don't give into defeat!---Press on, no matter what! You may just surprise yourself and accomplish more than you set out to do!

ONE LAST THOUGHT.

Just remember that HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF!!!

All great explorers had the courage to stay the course and not listen to the nay Sayers.

This is what we do at WA!

Believe in yourself!

Precisely! Brilliant thoughts, Donald! Think of where the world would be, or wouldn't be, without their determination and flair for the unseen! Thanks for your input! :)!

Uh, sometimes like Columbus you can stumble upon success. And a little revisionist history doesn't hurt either. :)
