IMPORTANT: Back up your websites!

A HELPFUL REMINDER, ESPECIALLY TO NEWBIES.
I wanted to remind everyone to back up your websites at least once a week! This reminder came from a comment on one of my blogs tonight. When backing up, it saves all your content and material. So, in case of a malfunction, you will have your precious information saved.
TECHNOLOGY IS CENTERED AROUND MEMORY.
We consume so much knowledge and content in our work, that there are thousands of ways to save and store information to stay organized. Google Cloud, Google Photos, Gmail, Storage Apps, Storage bins and more, will help to keep your files and photos secure. This is extremely helpful for government files, businesses documents, tax purposes, accounts, etc. The internet has taken over filing systems. Remember when there were filing cabinets?! They are now replaced with a computer on the counter. Looking up a "folder" is easy. No more filing alphabetically and drawers hanging open!
Or, card catalogs at the library. Do they still have those. I know many have been replaced by electronic filing systems and computers.
DON'T LOSE YOUR WORK!
We need to store our life's work, so to speak, so that we can gain easy access to it. I write my books online and store them in secure files. What did we ever do without the internet? It surely has saved on paper and trees over the years!
Do yourself a favor and backup your sites once a week for safety.
Here's Kyle's training video to show you how.
PLEASE NOTE: ericcantu pointed out in his comment that Kyle and Carson and the WA crew also auto backs up our websites daily. So, we are doubly secured!
It's still a great idea to do it ourselves, too!
Erin :)!
