Picture the fruit you eat every day (or should be eating) hanging from a beautiful tree. It's ripe and good for you. Have you ever been apple picking in the fall? Well then, you know that If you can't reach up high to get the few ripest, juiciest ones up near the top, chances you will grab the low hanging ones that are smaller at the bottom. The thing is that there's a lot more of the low hanging fruit to take a bite out of!

There's a similar reference in WA called Low Hanging Fruit.. This is a keyword that has low competition, getting less traffic. The reason being that most want the fruit that is up near the top of the tree; the high traffic keywords.
