It's Christmastime in the City

What a lovely day yesterday in New York City. 35 members of my fiance's family traveled by bus with us. A delicious lunch at Carmine's and a truly stunning performance of "Wicked" at the Gershwin Theater made for an amazing visit! I always love to see the famous tree at Rockefeller Center all lit up!

Winding Down on Christmas Eve - A Calmer Day Than Yesterday.

Christmas music is playing in the background as I write to bring good cheer to all my friends at WA. It is an hour into Christmas day. Opened packages now lay under my tree from a joyous time at my daughter and her fiance's home.

Warm Surroundings

Feeling blessed, I look around and see glimmering lights adding a special glow to my home. As I make my way to my room, I pass the kitties playing with their new catnip mice from their stockings. Sitting on my bed, I open the computer and log in to Wealthy Affiliate, excited to see new posts and nice messages replying to my comments. I feel even more at home now. I decide to write this blog post before I retire for the night. Tomorrow (or today rather) will be a busy, yet fulfilling day driving an hour to my fiance's home to celebrate Christmas with most of those from the NYC trip.

Outlook on What's Ahead

Although I want to bask in this day, I can't help but look to this wonderful and blessed past year and think of what is to come this year. I want to accomplish all I can here and pleasantly surprise myself with the results. There is so much hope and promise in the coming year! I'm so very excited to see what it will bring!
