Did You Miss Me-Just a Little? LOL
I'M BACK AND FULLY CHARGED!
After traveling over 4,300 miles on my vacation, I'm back safe and sound---and raring to go! I had no internet or computer and was unable to log in for a week! ARUBA (named "One Happy Island") was absolutely AMAZING! My sister and I experienced the time of our lives while bonding, laughing, relaxing, soaking up the sun, wining, dining, listening to bands and awesome music, shopping, taxi and bus rides, schmozzing, banquets on the beach, receptions, spectacular sunsets, swimming in the ocean, watching the ARUBA lizards, dancing, FUN, etc., etc.! It was truly heaven on earth--PARADISE!
Here are just a fraction of the pictures I took!
BACK TO REALITY.
Now, however, getting back to REALITY, I'm back in full swing and so excited to pick things up again after being off the computer for a week.
I will be working most of the day tomorrow on my Personal Case Study site, so stay tuned for my Seventh Task post! It will take a few days to review everything accomplished so far on my site and to perfect what needs attention. I have missed my group of friends so much!
SOME THOUGHTS OF MY SURROUNDINGS---WRITTEN WHILE ON THE BEACH.
I'm here on the island of ARUBA in gorgeous Palm Beach at the Barcelo Aruba Hotel. It's extremely hot on the beach, with a warm and gentle breeze blowing tropical fragrance throughout the island. The sand is soft and comforting, sparkling in the bright sunshine. The cloudless sky of crystal blue surrounds this beautiful June afternoon. The sun glistens on the cool Caribbean Sea. Kids are joyfully building sandcastles and motes with smiling parents nearby. Parasails glide in the distance, propelling visitors high above the waves. Yachts and sailboats grace the shoreline. My sister is taking a dip in the tranquil and turquoise-colored ocean. Scatters of tourists and natives, all shapes and sizes, litter the shallow water. It is peaceful with the faint sound of the waves humbly touching the shore at low tide. Gulls and sea birds soar in the wind, competing eagerly for scraps. The smell of coconut sun lotion and sea breeze fills the day. Time has stood still for the moment, being in the presence of our divine life. Deep breaths of ease ignite our wonderful vacation. Life as we knew it three days ago has slowed to an enjoyable pace. We are truly blessed to experience such splendor. ~ H. Erin Nelson ~

Awwww, thanks, Genelda! What I envision, I write down. It really preserves memories that way!
I would love to have you along! :)!
That would be 'frikkin' awesome.
Good to write it down, it's called preservation. You're right about that.

Thanks, Kim! My mind is trying to fade from the excitement of being away. I do need a little more rest, though! Ha ha!
Beautiful pictures! And I love what you wrote ... "Time has stood still for the moment, being in the presence of our divine life" ... beautifully written! I'm hoping I can get away somewhere in the near future to just recharge. Thanks for sharing and welcome back!

Welcome back that is the charm of a tourist destination.unfortunately the locals don't always see the beauty
No wonder it's named One Happy Island!
Anguilla has the potential of offering one of the best qualities of life but many a time I am the only person in the water of a mile long beach. This past Sunday I was happy to share the calm waters with lots of youths playing in the water.we dont appreciate freeness.
Awesome, Courtney! I love swimming in the Caribbean Sea, but one time when I was in the water, my leg got nibbled on a few times and I quickly hurried out for the time being! HAHA!
