IN MY ABSENCE, MY CONVERSION EXPERIMENT WORKED!

As I left my site unmanaged for the weekend (the beauty of Wealthy Affiliate), I received a few referrals from a link I had posted. My experiment worked! I am implementing another company I believe in that has the potential to overload my site conversions.---Further experimenting is sure to prove success! I will be unable to disclose this company, as promotions are not acceptable. But, will keep you posted at my progress!

I WAS ON CLOUD NINE!

I had a weekend of pure relaxation, serenity and FUN! Tony and I jaunted off on a weekend getaway to Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island, where we stayed in a beachfront hotel on the ocean with a private beach. It was truly an amazing experience! We arrived around noon and checked in. Then, walked around the town and next door to Paddy's where we enjoyed drinks and a fab lunch. We spent the remainder of sunlight walking the coast and then to our private beach, that was almost uninhabited, as it is now off-season--after Labor Day.

Evening drew us to a coastal restaurant called Andrea's. We were dressed in our best and dined right off the water. I had the luxury of ordering lobster and it was so mouth-watering! A long walk through town and back to the hotel helped to digest our seafood.

Sleeping to the sound of waves gently crashing on the shore and the ocean breeze blowing in made for the best night sleep I've had in a long while!

EARLY TO RISE.

On the beach again at 8:30AM, the atmosphere was serene with an almost mystical appearance, as the fog lifted off the water, taking its own sweet time.

We swam and sun bathed for a few hours, and then made our way down the road to the Famous Annual Fall Fair Festival. We walked in with a woman on stilts who needed help getting from the grass to the pavement. So, I took her hand and guided her to safety.

THE MAIN ATTRACTION.

Oldies music filled the air as we ventured through a huge car show---My fav being the turquoise blue '59 Chevy Camero! (In high school, my first car was a '79 Camero 3-speed with racing stripes and a spoiler! LOL!---It was my baby!) There were tons of old cars in mint condition. Tony and I were in our GLORY!

HERE WE ARE!

As we entered the fair, the smell of various fried foods filled the air, catching our immediate attention---the famous fair fried dough, fried Oreos, fried pickles, burgers, sausage, french fries, etc. There was even fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Yikes! There was a lighted stream of endless rows of cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, lemonade, candy of all shapes and flavors, and any kind of junk food you can think of! But, oh, so GOOD!

We did some shopping at the many tents lined up. The rides filled the sky with colors and sounds, sending echoing screams over the fairground.

Booths of games attracted kids and adults of all ages---eager to win the large Sponge Bob, Mario or Luigi hanging overhead, and countless other prizes that would soon be forgotten or packed away.

IN ANOTHER WORLD.

There were your usual fair attendees---Ghostbusters were roaming around and the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man! HAHA! A clown was putting on a show, The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas were singing Disney songs in an outdoor building where a variety of different shows were scheduled throughout the day.

ON STAGE? ME?!!

We enjoyed some fair favorites and smoothies and then went to a magic show put on by two magicians, Dave and Larry. It was so fascinating! In the middle, one of them (Larry) started talking to me and then invited me on stage for his next magic trick! I hopped on stage in front of a whole audience! LOL! He did this baffling card trick that had everyone clapping loudly. It was quite the experience. Larry had drawn a picture during his trick that he gave me to take home as a momento. I had them sign it afterwards, and they said I was a perfect volunteer (even though I didn't volunteer--haha!) Tony got the whole thing on tape!

THE NEWPORT MANSIONS AND CLIFF WALK.

Exhausted and with the hot sun beating down on us, we then ventured next door to---that's right---another beach! The Fair was great!

Then, after having enough sun and fun in the ocean, Tony and I drove up the coast to Newport and walked the Cliff Walk around to some of the amazing mansions! (I planted seeds for our future!) We went sight-seeing around the town, up and down narrow streets filled with huge homes! Newport, RI is absolutely beautiful and a little piece of heaven! We viewed the Vanderbuilt mansion and, I think, Taylor Swift's home.

After a quick bite to eat and a gorgeous sunset, our next stop was HOME! Three hours later, we ended a truly enjoyable mini-vacation that was so packed with amusement, it seemed like we were gone for weeks! After all that sun, I think I'm beginning to look Italian like Tony. lol
