Don't know what to write?
So what is on my mind right now I mean to write a blog? When you thought you have something or everything to write in the end you got nothing to write. You must be holding it back.
We tend to overwhelming, overthinking things and complicated things. You have planned or not plan to write something in the mind and you end up writing nothing.
Think or do
What you have now? What to write now? You don't have idea? Then just write I don't know what to write. This is the effect you are a thinker than a doer.
Most of our time we tend to think then we write. So ever happen to you? You go though the search for the content and info all over the place and you end up being overwhelming into being a reader and results in jamming your thinking.
Then you procrastinate to write. Why is that so! I tell you why because we tend to want to be perfect that it overdo it with content.
Rather than just write and keep the momentum. Every thing you write is not happen in a daily basic. It happens overnight where all the info you gather become fruitful.
You don't read and write. You tend to read more but and store it portions by portion and leads to the whole thing. As we can't memories all that we read and we tend to going to process of reading and rereading. Till we get it in our memory.
2 ways or highway
I think the best way to do in two ways
Either you write it what you remember or you put it by progress. Is writing a half page then save as draft then continue to next day another half till you. Or you could end up writing nothing.
Set metric
The goal to write per day per week and per month for short term goal.
And long term goal yearly. Towards your ultimate goal.
But more important you're planing or preparation to are write that will keep you going and in momentum. Do it as a habit and you will write according to your plan.

Sometimes I have to move away from my computer completely when I am writing a post Henry. I allow my mind to relax and then when I come back more ideas come flooding through.

Yes detach from the electronic to better ENVORIMENT like I used note to write where all the idea comes naturally
I agree, I don't always write a whole post in one sitting. Sometimes I'll just get it started and continue the next day. Thanks Henry for the great post.

Right there with ya. Capture thoughts as I get them and save the drafts. Work on pieces over time. Most of the time, they seem to write themselves while I sleep. Amazing how productive the resting mind can be! Here's to reading great posts from you! Have a blessed evening!
