Premium Plus Classes Rock !
I decided yesterday afternoon to go plus annually... It makes sense in that I dont have monthly currency charges to pay doing a monthly subscription. And I could cancel my jaaxy pro subscription at the same time so a lot to experience !
I was pleasantly suprised to find that there was a plus class last night. for me theyre at 12 midnight, which does feel better than 2am for Jay. I often catch Jay's classes on the rebound and whilst theyre very informative, I cant ask questions that i might have. So midnight is fine with me.
This class was on 'Market Research on You Tube' with 'Benjisdad' aka Chris. Chris is a You Tube Blogger and influencer who has given up his 9-5 to work full time online, (something I am sure we all would really like to do)
When I decided to watch the class, having a You Tube channel wasnt really something I had thought about. Yes I had seen the blogs before and watched another class some time ago but just thought it was where I put my videos for my MMO website. Rather shortsighted of me but with everything else that we have to do for our websites, I really didnt think very much further than that.
Chris's clsas was very entertaining, informative and encouraging. This webinar worked a slightly different way to previous ones I have been to, in that Chris's was pre-recorded so the presentation was to the point, no disrespect intended to Jay's webinars...I enjoy those as well but I do like the very upfront presentation of Chris's prerecorded class especially at midnight.
That's not to say there is no interaction throughout the webinar. Chris (and Carson) commented and answered questions throughout the webinar. I really like the style. It meant that I could ask questions throughout the webinar and get them answered within the frame of the topic. I like the fact the pro is there fielding questions as we listen, with timely replies and more information.
There was more Q & A at the end of the presentation, so more time to dig deeper into the topic and with the information I have learned and the questions I was able to ask, I am going to start a You Tube channel.
There are more webinars in the series and looking ahead, there are some very interesting headliners that I know I will learn a lot from in Chris's series. They are timed weekly, so Ive added them to my diary. And Ive added the other series from other mentors. Looking forward to learning a lot from them too. It looks like my midnights are going to be quite busy going forward ! As far as I can see in November there are 3-4 each week, so as Im a night owl, and like that time of day, it fits perfectly for me. Of course if you are placed in New York or Californina, then youll be watching during the daytime.
So I am going to do something now that I haven't done before.... and that is NOT TO RUSH at this... Rather than rushing through the early processes of a new niche with You Tube Channel, to get myself up and running, I am going to follow the training I got yesterday and do the research, plan my attack as Chris put it, follow the rest of the course and plan this for a New Year launch.
In the past I have rushed to get things going but to be honest, the world is not going anywhere and if I am going to be successful at this, I need to use the knowledge I will acquire over the next few weeks to understand exactly how this will go down, so this will keep me to a good progressive pace.
Ive chosen my niche and with Chris's input last night, have realised that I have been ignoring some HUGE knowledge I have that would make the perfect niche that I have tons of experience in.. of course I have an angle on it and this is what i am going to use.
Take a look at the plus webinars. So far I am really pleased I upgraded.

Thanks jeff. I am lucky in the fact that I manage my boss's website here alongside my own and his hobby website, so fortunately I am able to pay it. It offers a new opportunity. Im going to get my son sorted out with a website too, he cant earn anything from it whilst hes in school (eligibility etc) but it will be a mature website by the time he comes out of school and can monetise from there.
AWESOME, Helen! I always love how you have your son's best interests at heart--which is the way it should be! He is lucky to have you as a mother!

I am a impressed Helen, delighted also for you and your new venture, I too have been very seriously looking at You Tube and with a bit of collaboration (from digital marketing daughter) and ”Income Schools” 60 steps (you tube) I am hopefully I too will have something for the new year.
I wish I had used lockdown a little more wisely, but I didn't, and I'm back to work Full Time on the 16th Nov, which is bizarre because here in the UK we are day one of the second lockdown.

thankyou Cordelia, Im going to plan this right, its a big niche that I am going into and want to make sure I have the right angle on it so Im working wisely. As my son says... you are exactly where you should be right now... so dont be despondent about lockdown, I think a lot of pressure was put on every one by influencers around us to use the last lockdown wisely and come out of it with a skill we didnt have before... well for some of us actually getting through it was a skill. I felt slightly cross that some influencers I followed online were suggesting that if this wasn't the case then I was a waster. So I stopped following them and did my best through lockdown.
Im in Kent, and work from home so lockdown doesnt really affect me work wise, but it does as far as my freedom of movement. No swimming again and no nipping off to see my boy in Spain.
I will let you know once I am up and running but I am going to make sure I do this right, not half measures, research, think, plan my attack.

It's really good to hear a positive report on the new program. At present, I can't afford to upgrade, but will perhaps be able to do so in the future. Hope you continue to gain benefits from your move up.
