Im Not Happy. I Have A New Referral
I know my headline is confusing... Why am I unhappy about a new referral? I should be pleased that my work is starting to be recognised. But this isnt the first referral I have had for my SAC website. Its still a very new website in MMO terms with less than 100 posts so right now not expecting too much from it.
However in the last 12 months I have had 21 new referrals but none have converted to premium. Not a single one of them are from my target audience.
Im not sure if I am giving out mixed messages, that there will always be a certain elememt of cross over with audiences or whether I am really not doing well on the writing front and none of my target audience are interested in what I am writing.
The referrals are not converting and I can understand why they are not going premium. I had one that thought this would be a good way to start a relationship with me ! Was NOT` happy about that. I am not sure where to go with this, do I change how I write? Is my target audience too big? I suppose that audience demographics do cross over, but I havent had a single referral from the audience I am targeting.
I want to make sure that I am doing it all right, that there isnt something Im missing.
I know its good to feel that things are working and I do get the feeling that things are going right, but didnt expect SO many not to convert.

I wish I knew how to help you Helen but I'm no expert on the MMO side of WA. I have had two referrals , but I have no idea where they came from. One became premium , and I never sent one email.

I liked your post and i can understand Your mixed feelings. I feel it depends on the person, if the time is not right or it’s not exactly what they are looking for then no matter what you do or say will change their minds.

I cannot say anything sensible about why your referrals do not convert.
I did go to your website to have a look. My first impression is: A fresh looking and fun site for newbies. Some WA promoting sites can look very similar and boring, yours definitely looks different.
I looked at your post Royalty Free Images. There are some things you may want to correct. The text has gone too much to the right. The last photo has the text above very close, and under the photo there is a huge gap.

I'd think you'd get a couple of premiums out of that...I believe the average is 1 for every 10.
I'd love to help, but not sure what is needed. Still trying to figure out what I need, my own self. I guess the best I can do is to tell you to just keep on keeping on...you must be doing something right, to get so much interest.
