Whew, man!
The week has been just a tad hectic. Someone mentioned email capture, and it took me two days to figure it out. Then there was the affiliate. Nothing was just a link, it was HTML, and that was frightening. But I finally figured out I had a specific widget for it. For some reason, nothing says "professional site" quite like having an affiliate link, and I finally have one. Woo hoo!!
It took me longer than I had hoped to get the email set up, but part of that is on my kids. I had two of my children in another state put their emails in my little box (with the promise I'd unsubscribe them), but both of them were distracted enough to be of little help despite the fact they both told me they weren't busy. It took me almost two hourse of, "Hey, did you get that email? Click confirm! Are you there?" to figure out everything was working the way it's supposed to.
But I'm sooooo excieted! I have an affiliate ad on my site and email capture and lots of content and it looks like a real web page.
