What Is Your Superpower?

šŸŽ¬ I have just rewatched a video from the fabulous Gary Vee and thought Iā€™d share this nugget of genius with you all.

When you start out online it is easy to become overwhelmed with so many things to do.

I would like to suggest you do this first.

šŸ”„ Determine just what it is YOU can offer, not your offer but what YOU bring to the table.šŸ”„

What are your strengthsā“

What is your SUPERPOWERā“

The Dreaded Self-Audit

As Gary suggests do a self-audit of your inherent skills.

Donā€™t be afraid of this task. There is absolutely no point in trying to be someone you are not. You can not pretend for very long.

āŒ Lying to yourself is difficult, lying to others is downright impossible to maintain.

āœ… Find your strengths, focus on those and develop them and forget about your weaknesses.

Say you have a notion that you want to be an blogger in the space of fashion and style for women over 60 because someone told you there was money in that niche.

BUT you spend your days in track pants and enjoy mowing the lawn and keeping your front yard looking immaculate.

šŸ›‘ STOPā—ļø You are simply setting yourself up for failure.

šŸ”„ I honestly canā€™t be any blunter than that.

šŸ”„ Be your authentic self.

šŸ”„ Find your strengths and go all in on those.

While you are doing your self-audit donā€™t think about how you can monetise or capitalise on your strengths just determine what they are.

Do you know your strengthsā“

Share them with us and let's be proud of our authentic selves.

It's the reason why some people are successful at WA (and other branches of life) and most aren't Heidi.

Every single person who signs up with WA has all of the tools and the same opportunity as every one else so, why do some succeed and others quit thinking it doesn't work?

The difference is within all of us as individuals, our thinking, discipline, work ethic, focus etc.

Some have it but most don't and that's what separates winners from quitters.

Mark

Completely agree Mark, we all have greatness within us, some choose to power on and achieve that, some perhaps don't have a strong enough why or the will power to make it all the way.

A strong "why" is a great motivator Heidi.

At somepoint it will be necessary to have a good internal chat and see where I would like to concentrate my focus. For now, I am still exploring different avenues.
I enjoy doing so many things and writing is something that underlines everything at the moment.
I do take pleasure in being able to pass on ideas and opportunities, maybe that is something I should explore more.

You will know when the time is right Twack, if you are enjoying your current journey then why upset the apple cart. Perhaps knowing your superpower is not something to be rushed, but rather developed and savoured as it comes to fruition.

I like that. What is ironic though, is that I read up about a company called SYPartners run by a man named Keith Yamashita. He's done quite few videos explaining what the main aims of the company are (which was fascinating in it's own right). Anyway, one of the ways that they operate is by creating teams and these comprise of various employees, all are deemed to have their own 'Super Power'.
They created an app that takes you through a series of questions and at the end, you know what your super power is.
I have the app on my phone, but as yet haven't tried it out.
Kind of says it all.

Sounds cool Twack, love to hear what it says your superpower is when you've done it.

And me.

Heidi great post. We all over estimate. Your points are valid. We can't be good at everything.
Thank you.
Stephen

And more often than not we beat ourselves up about those things we struggle with or simply can't do, rather than accepting and focussing on what we are good at and making the most of the strengths we do have.

Who I Am? There are no words, impossible to describe.
A little insight? My top 5 core values are Joy, Clarity, Authenticity, Curiosity, Positivity, Humour.

What do I enjoy talking about? The Mind and the Now.

Do I have Superpowers? I am Super Power.

Louise

Yes you are Louise, I can tell that from this side of the screen šŸ˜
Sounds like you have your journey well mapped out, love it.

So are you.
