Mentor Programs through Facebook
Ohh Wow! I'm going to be a Mentor
Feeling nervous, excited and a little dubious but I have joined up to be a mentor for a new horse owner through a Facebook group I joined today.
Who knew Facebook even offered Mentor Programs? I sure didn't!
Some of you might know that my niche site is dedicated to helping new horse owners so when this popped up I thought well it must be fate!
I'm not sure exactly how it works, about to find out, but it might be something worth looking into for the groups or pages that we all have on Facebook if you are starting to develop a bit of a following.
Anyhoo I am really pumped to be paired up with someone who would like some help with their horse.
I am feeling a bit of a weight in that I really want to do this justice and help my new friend so I hope I am good at this!
Now to wait for a suitable mentee so we can get started.

That's excellent Heidi. You have a lot of knowledge with horses so I'm sure the mentoring will just come naturally.

It's a 10 week program apparently so plenty of time to get to know my first mentee.

The FB page is called Friendly Horse Questions Pernilla. I haven't seen mentoring options on any other pages I am on, so not sure if it is a new thing or I just haven't seen it.
Definitely, I think I am being more prepared to open myself up a bit and offer more back to the communities I am in, and this is in turn opening opportunities for my growth.
