I'm going walkabout
This is a aboriginal tradition, basically a rite of passage where adolescent boys wander off into the bush and become men. They are gone for extended periods of time, no one knows how long they will be gone or exactly when they will return.
It’s been bastardized in our modern white culture to basically mean anyone who disappears and then wanders back at some stage.
Well I’m going walkabout with my horse tomorrow. We are going on a 5 day training camp to a small country town in the bush. I will be back but suffice to say I may not have internet coverage or too much spare time to blog here.
I miss you guys already :( Soldier on without me, I’ll catch up when I get back.
See you in a week or so.

Sounds like something I would enjoy .. being in the bush. I love the great outdoors!
Wishing you all the best with your training. See you when you get back Heidi! Take care!
Thanks Jackie, I am looking forward to it, not so much the 10 hour drive there and back, but that's what happens when you live so far away from everything.
Talk soon.
