Best of Posts - are you using them?
I got a little excited yesterday when checking my Amazon account to see that I had finally sold a product actually related to my niche. And not one I had to ask someone to buy LOL.
And this was all due to a Best of Post. So are you using them?
For those that don't know my niche is new horse owners and this is my very first site that I started when I joined WA in late February 2018.
Up till yesterday I had sales of golf balls, iceberg lettuce and a heap of groceries plus a couple of clocks, various stuff like that. But nothing horse related. I have currently earnt $11.52 from Amazon.
This sale however, is all due to a bit of a collaboration of WA minds so I'd like to do a quick shout out to say thank you.
Hopefully many of you have seen dylanrieger's training about Creating a 6 Figure Website. Some months back I read it and started writing Best Of's Posts as recommended by Dylan.
One of the first ones was Best Horse Riding Body Protectors 2018.
The idea came from a question in Live Chat where someone, and I am sorry I can't remember exactly who it was now, asked me if horse riders wear any protection other than helmets. Sounded like a product review post to me so I wrote one using Dylan's training.
Currently ranking #2 on Google and #3 on Bing, this post has pretty much been in the same positions from about 2 weeks after it was published in early June. I don't have exact data because I hadn't been tracking the keyword.
This post also ranks for:
Best Equestrian Body Protectors - Google #3, Yahoo #9
Best Equestrian Protectors - Google #2
Best Horse Rider Protection - Google #1
What can I say - Best Of Posts work.
And as I started saying the product I sold, which was a mid range body protector, was not my #1 recommendation but the beauty of Best of Posts is just that. I reviewed 6 products and there was something there that someone wanted to purchase. Had I only reviewed my #1 choice well then that person probably wouldn't have purchased anything.
OK I am going to try and keep this shorter than my usual posts, so I shall stop rambling now.

Hi Zarina it's only early days for me yet but I am finding Amazon to be a winner with my readers.
I also offer boutique horse specific sites but don't seem to be having much luck with sales to them yet. But as I say it is only early days.

I currently use best of posts for both of my niche pages. I use them as pillar post and i am building a lot links from various articles to them.
Excellent idea Huy. If they are good quality products and used often in your niche it's easy to link to them in lots of other articles.
