The No-Time syndrom
For more than a week I want to write another blog for WA, actually about fear and holding back and all this stuff. Guess what? I have no time.
No time doesn't really exist. So I was sitting here, waiting for my broadcast to start (in 40 min) and my guests to come into the hangout room.
I decided - instead of sending out another Tweet - which nobody ever reads, checking the background, getting my tea from the kitchen - which gets cold in the meantime - and believing that I need to concentrate for the conversation ahead: well, I jumped onto my keyboard and write a blog post.
What does this demonstrate? It proves that I have time - actually about 24 hours a day, but that I have the full control on how to PASS my time. And sometimes I prefer to have my afternoon tea with some 85% chocolate, chatting with my husband, to writing yet another blogpost.
So, do you have time? For WHAT?
In case you want to watch our live broadcast with our WA colleague Helen Vella, go to https://hangoutonconnections.com/live-streaming/ at the top of the hour!
See you then
Heidi

One thing I have learnt is that, if it's important, you will make time for it. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Heidi, life is about balance. We should ask ourselves why we are in business. For most the answer will be the quality of life. Making the choice to spend time with family and friends is critical to our well-being.
Great post, thanks for sharing.
Cheers Kev
Well, yes. And quality of life NOW and not some day in a far future. That's what I am telling me when I am tied to the computer answering emails and WA posts (which I really like to do, but......)
It is hard when we enjoy our work and being engaged with communities such as WA. But we have to make that choice.
Cheers Kev
