I actually use a pluggin for the social buttons which gives a lot more flexibility in configuring how they work.
I have the challenge that i can not put my link behind the social media buttons and at the bottom of the Theme is a space tor the world map and next to it a box to put the address. At the moment is a address from minsk in it...and i am defenitely not from minsk... :-) The other challenge is, that i like to customize the "Call to action" button. Maybe i give you the link to the site so you can see better the problem.

OK... According to what I see, the website appears full of "pre-defined" widgets, which means you have to enter into your website's admin area, -> appearance -> widgets, and then you can change/remove the default widgets with the one(s) you want
I usually go with strict html which gives you much more flexibility, but you can also use some of the other kinds of widgets you'll find there if you prefer.

Thank you very much for your help. I was in the appearance area but could not remove the defaults. Luckily I have someone who is professional in coding. So i will show my problem to him... ;-)

You're welcome Martin, by the way the easiest way to work out the widgets area is by drag-and-drop: there's an area with the active widgets, and another one with the deactivated ones...

Hi Martin, had a look at your site and to make the changes you want you need to customize it. You can do this either by changing the HTML code or the CSS code, whichever you find easier. You can change the HTML code in your text editor or can also bring up the stylesheet by clicking on Appearances=Editor on the Dashboard. Also, by right clicking on the page you will see a drop down, click on "view page source" and this will bring up the CSS, or page source code, but 'm not sure if this will allow you to edit it Hope this helps.

Thanks i came across those symbols yesterday when trying to research inserting a grid into content, one needs to build a new vocabulary,someone once laughed at my ignorance, so i asked him to bring me the BAT from my studio,his reply was "what cricket has to do with pottery". (new to the computer)
