Lesson learned. Really? How many in one day?

ooohhhh... so many things to learn... BUT... good news. Kyle knocked out my huge dilemma of what to write for my bios for my social media sites. I started ripping my hair out over what I am supposed to put in my bios. Do I have to make up a new 'person' for my niche? What do people want to see to build the trust factor? Should I include anything about my personal life, or just keep it a business profile?

Kyle's answer... write about you. That's all. Your interests, hobbies, etc. (lol, does that fall along the lines of Keep it Simple?) I about did a face palm... 🤦 🤦 so yes... lesson #1 learned today.. STOP OVERTHINKING!!!!

Here comes lesson #2........ giving site feedback can be hard. I know, you're supposed to give helpful feedback, but I really, REALLY hate saying something needs to be changed. But with what I did say, I said from experience. And I said a bunch of 'nice' things...

I'm guessing I have to change my way of thinking on this. When I get 'productive' feedback, it tells me what should be changed to make things better, so I'm doing my best to overcome that one.

#3: Site comments..... where do I begin? lol.. I just spent half an hour (literally) reading someone's blog and trying to give a comment. I was actually 'told' that my comment wasn't unique.... WHAT?!?! lol, OK. I just sat here and wrote it. How can it not be unique? It was 3 paragraphs long 🙄

Maybe that's just the universe trying to tell me that I missed an important part on that page that was supposed to help me. (it was really interesting, too, and this person actually captured my attention so much that I would've gladly rejoined WA 🤣 )

Lesson learned here -- no idea. Leaving comments is weird sometimes.

#4: 'ask and ye shall receive'.... I sent a message to a site I'm starting to affiliate for, and they send me this HUGE document that doesn't even look like it's English :( . I mean, of course it is, I just have to learn their platform and how they do things - it is much different from what I'm used to!

All I did was asked them if I could use pics from their site, and they said yes, BUT I have to do it THIS WAY. geez... but they OK'd my site, so I'll do it their way.

So, I'd say I've learned a few things today. I think I have more questions than I did when I started, but it's all a process. After all, I haven't made it this far in 20 odd years. It can't be done in a day!

Reading everyone's blogs also helps tremendously! Brings me back to feeling normal... well, as normal as I can be, lol.

I have no idea what day out of 30 it is, but I DO know that I am getting there. Day by day, 'one foot in front of the other 🎶🎶'.
