OK, I have to confess that when I joined Wealthy Affiliate, I may have lied...
...but only to myself
I'm going to be honest with everyone. I have bitten the hook on a "get rich and live the life of your dreams" internet sham more than once in my lifetime. Nothing devastating like giving my life savings for an "eternal life" potion or anything, but I've dumped a couple hundred bucks here and there for nothing more than a completely empty promise of life on easy street.
I know you've probably been there too. For just $149.00 you're drinking Pina Colladas on a Mediterranean beach while money flows up your wazoo. You don't need to do anything except pay for access to the "utterly magical turnkey program". You opt in, and it fades to black. No support other than a daily spammy email. No interacting with mentors. Not an ounce of value
So I came to WA with that baggage and swore that I wasn't going to pay for the premium content until I had an online business that was generating at least enough money to cover the premium membership.
I made it three days.
It was so clear in that short time that WA actually does have the tools that lead to success in the online business world. No, it's not the "Magic Bullet" for instant fortune, but I think we all know in our hearts that the magic bullet doesn't exist.
I know the tools are here to create the life I have pictured in my mind and I will be steadfast in building that vision a into my reality.

If those programs worked, we all would be sitting on a beach somewhere drinking our favorite beverage.
And since we are sitting in front of our computers, it is obvious that it takes work first.

I have beat you with a day, I went premium the second day.
Go for it. We have been online for 9 years and probably spent out on training, mentoring etc, enough to buy a house!!! Not even joking!
We don't begrudge a penny as it has got us to where we are now, with so much knowledge and more than enough to get us to where we want to go.
One of the best investments has definitely been WA, which we only joined just over 2 weeks ago.

I certainly had a wee laugh with this post, no doubt there have been many on here who fell into the honey trap including me though was not a lot of money after 4 years of being here I know that this works and the training keeps us up there with the constant changes evolving in the cyber world. Keep up the good quest sure you will be up the swanee somewhere enjoying those cocktails lol
LOL, I know exactly how you felt. I'm not sure if I became a Premium on my 2nd or 3rd day. Doesn't matter. We're here now and we are in the right place at the right time.
